@violinwesley i wish I could bring you over 2 my squadron for a day. Our meeting building is right next to an army aviation quadron with a few blackhawks. Didn't even need to go encampment. Funnest time of my life.

@USAFFuturePilot :OOO you ARE lucky! When I went to 2010 encampment at Camp Pendleton, complications went around, so we couldn't get a ride in a CH46 Sea Knight! We were all looking forward to it! And they even had a .50cal on the side with ammo in it! I thought they were going to let us pop a few rounds...but nope ): Where does your squadron meet?

@violinwesley Otis ANGB, Cape Cod, MA. It is awesome being on a place like it. Back in 2005 there was an F-15 squadron, but they got realligned has an intelligence wing and their planes sent to a airport that had/has A-10 warhogs(not too sure). The USCG now uses the place.

The fact that they didn't let you fly in the CH-46?(is it the CH-46 or CH47) is saddening since helicopters are awesome to be in. Only thing better than that would be a O-flight with the Thunderbirds, lol.

HAhahahahahahah are you kidding me? I wish the California wing had money for this, we barely get our O flights in gliders. One squadron did this in a chinook and it took about 3 years for the CA gov to ok it.

Airforce search and rescue missions. we are the real thing. we have access to military basesand so on. we wear military uniforms with AMERICAN flags on them. when your ass is lost in the woods dont cry to us. have the real soldiers help you.

listen asshole, we arnt soldiers but we are U.S. Air force auxilary. We conduct 95%  of the airforce search and rescue missions, we wear military uniforms that need to be perfect and we proudly wear AMERICAN flags on our arms. we have access to military bases and are trained in first aid, search and rescue, flying, and disaster releif. When you are lost in thw wodds some wear, remember who is looking for you.
