mmm... Something is wrong in that scene. The cat seems to be tied or something, you cannot see it complete on both takes. It would have fleed or jumped all around the snake trying to get its neck. Not just stay there trying to keep the snake at bay while it misteriously keep looking and looking at the camera and not the snake...
STOP FAKING NATURE ENCOUNTERS JUST TO FILM STUFF.
So thats why the snake didnt bother me. Like when i was 5, i was playing in my dads yard outside near some tree. Then i turned around and there was a big ass snake (idk what kind, just a big ass snack) climbing down the tree. Scared the shit out of me. But, my dad got his shotgun and killed him.
@Razma666 You are right Raz. Bobs are certainly fearless predators one on one. They hunt and kill animals that are much larger than they are in the wild. They will stay away from people unless you get too close or they feel you are a threat to them. Their bite strength per size is the strongest of all of the cat family, and stronger than that of any domestic dog. Although they are very formidable hunters other predators can and do kill them like the video states about remains found in pytho
the snake = the man that wants to comeback (relationship) to the bobcat, the bobcat = the b*tch slapping girl who yells you cant have me now get the f*ck outta here :)
Stupid, dumb ass Americans, irresponsible pet owners, shame on American CITES and international trade supervision, shame on many many broken things in this fucked up world. It hurts so bad to see so many beautiful native species suffer only because somebody got bored with their pet. And even the python is not to blame-it just acts according to its nature.
Very good job Ojatro, I liked your videos very much and I am very interested in Everglades case. You got one subscriber more ;)
@aYglr People not only release(d) exotic pets into the Everglades but even dogs, cats and many other animals... some of this domestic animals starve to death or get eaten by alligators...
@ojatro It seems as though the everglades has become a dumping ground for unwanted pets. Of course it always comes down to the people. Actually most animal problems are really people problems
I'm sorry, did not mean it in a rude tone Ojatro.I enjoed video and had no problem with the narration.I will be watching for more video's from you(and other this guys....jk)Thx for posting.
@ojatro one hell of a show you have here buddy.keep it up. I was intrigued by watching your show because I had previously read a book about a Polish american herpetologist who died of a krait bite in burma.
I would not worry all the animals well be fine. Just like all this bull shit about polar bear, its was discovered that brown bear and polar bears were mating creating a new bear breed. These animals have survice for thousand of years and they well need surivicing
@IncomeGDI That is a though question to answer, cuz most dead animals here in south florida will be eaten by alligators and other predators soon after.
Great videos - very informative. Is any attempt being made to control the invasive species ? Seems like trapping and hunting may be able to make an impact on the python and monitor.
To continue, I have studied bobcats for almost 20 years now. Breeding, hunting, territories, the myths that they can breed with domestic cats, and much more. A very simple investigation into "snake vs. bobcat" on google or youtube will net you videos of bobcats successfully killing many different species of snake. The bob's downfall and reason for most lost fights are that they are distracted easily by sounds and movements, at that point the bob is vulnerableand t other predator can strike.
I disagree. Bobcats can and have killed, and do hunt snakes, including pythons, rattlesnakes, and other snakes. Yes, occasionally they do lose, but most of the time the bobcat will win. I do not see the bobcat as the prey. I see both as predators where sometimes the snake will win but most of the time the bob is the victor. The bobcat much like the African Serval uses its strong slaps to stun the snake and then go in for the death grip with its jaws.
First I start with plenty of research before I focus on filming. It's very time consuming indeed but the reward of capturing the "unseen" is still greater. Thanks for watching.
@rogerver this is not raw ,real wildlife footage...i think some people do this kinda scenarios..wich is kinda lame to me...animals could get hurt/dead without their own will or without nature`s will
