@diablitogetnpaid there is a whole series of videos on this dog this was the very first one there are a dozen more , you should get a dog aggressive Pit and do your own series of videos!
do you remember what number she was on for this? Sadies action in the first few minutes of the collar training is how my dog reacts to the bikes who ride by us on our walks. And a nick and turn around in the opposite directions at 20 he just kept ignoring me and played a pulling war to get at the bikes.
I think mollynicole16 is referring to the orange/yellow box that receives the signal from the dogtra transmitter and emits an audible signal. I assume that the signal is to help the owner (or video viewer) know when an e-correction is being given. I would love to know what this is and where I can get one. I have looked for something like this for a long time to help folks I train with.
Good video. Do you think in the future you can number the videos(in title) for a particular dog so viewers can watch the progress? It keeps things more organized. I think the series of videos with this dog is good because it will give many hope out there. I am a trainer who is sold on Dogtra also.
Thank you Kelly for this good demonstration. Can you tell me how high the volume is from the nick and dou you change the volume along the way in this video?
no the sound is only so you can tell when I am using the pager nick or cont. mode pn the collar check my page for the explanation of the ''sound box''
Great! Wonderful synchronisation between Vibration, Nick or Continuous stimulations and the dangerous dog's behavior. The results are already impressive!
I have a pit/shepard puppy from the pound, approx 4-5months. Am sure he was a Christmas present gone wrong. Still has toilet training issues. Any help much appreciated.
Getting a crate might be difficult. Both me and my girl are pretty strapped. He seems to have developed a habit of going on anything hard and flat. I thought I had gotten him out of going in the house only to find that when i hook him to the tie-out cable on the front of the house, he has all of the front yard to go out to, and i've walked himout there to go and praise hiom when he does, but as soon as my ack is turned, he will go on the front porch instead.
I'm not sure if this is from being conditioned in the pound, some kind of territorial marking instinct, or if he's just upset and doing it for attention. We have two other dogs who are trained well enough to tell us when they need to go, but Cooper's not picking up on their cues yet. Maybe just a matter of time?
I understand but Maybe try looking in the paper or asking around a lot of times people sell used crates cheap or even give them away if they don't need them anymore
@thepurpleku yes well why don;t you watch the complete playlist and see the end result

just curious...how come you don't praise her for not reacting to the barking dogs 3:11-3:27?
pitbullovee 1 year ago
@pitbullovee because the dog has no frame of reference for good or bad behavior later you add the praise but it would not help anything at this stage
