In SS:TFE to get the minigun you had to kill the statue, take all the pickups at the statue, run to the room on the left, grab the shield there and go back to find the bouncer... Seems they dumbed it down in the HD version...

A problem I have in this game is fighting headless kamikazes. I can never tell which direction they're coming from and by the time I do they explode on me. They seem to really like to spawn behind and next to me too.

Galley, the game is actually not that tough on Serious. It's definetly challenging, but not hard. I played this game on Normal and Hard at the same time and when I tried on Serious, it wasn't so hard.

At least that's how it works for me. Give it a try on Hard and then on Serious. You'll pass it like a breeze. (with a few bumps in the road.)
