@UndisclosedHost Yeah, I did just make out what is displayed now.
I love the Pro-2035/2042 scanners. I'm looking around for one as we speak because I really like having a VFO vs up/down buttons for quick tuning around. I could pick up a Pro-2005/2006 but I really want to have a VFO. Heck, even the old Pro-2004's are very cheap these days.
@KE4RWS I've had three of the PRO-2042, always found it the best one and always went back to it. I've had three only because I've sold and bought others but always went back to the PRO-2042. With a nicely mounted discone I can pick up life guards on a beach according to AA route planner is close to 100 miles away. Really does pull em in well if you've got the right coax/antenna. Got other videos uploaded of local VTS's, give em a look if marine interests you.
@UndisclosedHost Yes indeed. I also had several Pro-2006's over the years, and was forced to sell them a various points in life. But I kept re-buying other 2006's when finances permitted. I hated having to live that way but things have settled a lot with me and I'm ready to make another scanner purchase, which will be either the 2035 or 2042.
I live one mile from the Atlantic ocean so I do listen to a lot marine stuff. Can't wait to pick one of these up :)
very cool, I used to fly out of southend....my username on youtube is the callsign of the aircraft I used to fly infact!! The guy on southend radar sounds very familiar!
Way too blurry to make out what is displayed. Otherwise, the audio is okay . . .

@KE4RWS 127.725 - You can see it if you look close enough. It was recorded on an old Sony mobile phone which is why it's a bit blurry.
