I have a little girl coming and I hated getting my hair combed when i was little girl and now have locs, so i dont have to twist every night. Also how long did this really take? Your daughter did a great job, and you did to. lol I found out what products to use on my girls hair and that helps the most. My oldest has thick hair and she was a drama queen, now she still doesnt want her hair done but it is so much managable now. Like night and day, but she loves the ending results. Thanks for sharing.

She is adorable! I can't believe she is sitting there patiently. When I used to get my hair done (my Mom used a comb and a brush dipped in warm water) I used to cry like I was on fire! ironically I use Carols daughter Milk stuff on my daughters hair too, maybe i need to start sealing with an oil. shes only 17 months old and her hair is about 4 inches long and very curly. I dont detangle it at night, i will start..if I aint too lazy after her long baths
