@tyrael303 well baek doesn't really do wtf ,he's more of a traditional TKD user , i think he do moo duk kwan .as u can see if u compare him to Hwoarang. hwoarang is more sporty modified. i guess since the WTF dobok is so popular as being the TKD uniform that they put that on baek in his first appearance in tekken 2. when u see hwoarang in tekken 4 he has the V neck uniform on. they probably put that uniform on hwoarang becuz it looks cool, if u see on uniform that it has black outlining on it

Turning kick or "Dollyo Chagi" as practiced in ITF.

ITF stands for International Tae Kwon Do Federation.

WTF stands for World Tae Kwon Do Federation. WTF is more of a sport (case in point it is in the Olympics).

ITF is more technical and closer to the original Tae Kwon Do.

WTF is primarily practiced in North Korea where as ITF is primarily practiced in South Korea.

It's no "weak" and "sucky" martial art, it's powerful, destructive and funny.

My opinion is the I.T.F that is the more traditional art with more selfdefense and "Taerigis" Yeah... I love it.

1. the stupid novalty characters(roger, panda, mokujin etc) ind i personally preferred jack when he was basicly like a strong human.

2. the ability to use air combos.

@loknick It's because the pattern practitioners in the ITF (traditional rather than Olympic Taekwon-Do) have to perform for their black tag grade is called Hwa-Rang in honour of the Silla kingdom warriors. It's one of the most popular patterns because it's simple and powerful. Hwoarang performs sections of it throughout the Tekken series in the video clips before and after fights.

@EcCena actually, i believe you no nothing of martial arts. I ahve a black belt in karate, been studying it for 6+ years. I've also been doing taekwondo lessons along side my 5th year in karate and i hated it so much because the teacher did nothing but make us practice kick after kick after kick as it was main weapon by 80%. I later quit taekwondo for that reason and he called me lazy for it and when i explained it to him he was speechless. and its sport and art, hence the tournaments....
