This is fantastic, and i can garentee if it was not Yoko this would have been a huge hit, people need to get over that "Yoko broke the Beatles" myth, coz she didnt, the Beatles broke the beatles, Allen Klien and Phil Spector broke the beatles, Apple broke the beatles, Yoko, and Linda most certainly did not, and people need to get over that.
People really have to get over their hatred towards Yoko. Whether people would like to acknowledge it or not, Yoko's been a huge influence on many singers and bands throughout the years.
It's not that she's good when she actually sings, it's just that she's not screeching like a cat with its tail under a rocking chair and that's refreshingly different.
Far be it! No coal 4 u. As a Yoko fan for 30 years, I always speak up about her. I take ALOT of sh*t 4 it, but people always remember me as "That Yoko dude". Imagine a kid walking around school w/ Season of Glass under his arm? That was me. The Ono dude....
Awesome! I was the guys sitting around with his musician friends---all of whom carry the familiar bias towards Yoko---saying "If I played you some of her stuff, you'd dig it!"
After listening twice ... I like It. I have defended Yoko for years. I first found Yoko as A Solo artist with STARPEACE ... album circa 1985... I loved it. I would like to find or see a video of her then ... it was big on MTV. And the director was a guy with a "Z"....something like Zibrendski...she smashed a piano in the video ? It was popular when I was in school circa mid '80s with the MTV age, new at the time.
I am just beginning to check out Yoko's music.. This is one of the rare occasions when she does proper music and it reminds me of Regina Spektor.
Wished she made more of such music instead of her "avant grade music" like WHY or Mulberry... Those I think are absolute jokes! But if watch them on Youtube no less just for a freak show... haahaaa
FABULOUS SONG!!! She is an extraordinary artist - very original. Listen to all her works. Great Lady! John was not blind to love her. Think about it!?!
I'm just starting to listen to Yoko's solo stuff. It's pretty weird but I think it sounds really cool. Her vocals aren't the greatest but still, I like the sound.
You're right, of course; she wouldnt be selling as many albums. I don't think it's just about how many albums. Yoko is an artist, a performance artist. If she was just concerned about how many albums she sold, she'd probably be touring with McCartney... Peace, bro...
She was punk before there was punk. Her short films in the 60s were also ahead of the times. I soooo get what John saw in her. I hope the rest of the world can now see her through his eyes.
Yes, this is a good song and a good video. But please -- don't expect that Yoko or other alternative/punk people could make it to Texas. Wouldn't they try to redneck her and her band? She's had enough persecution.
spanning two centuries of conciousness and positive thinking.... one of the least appreciated contemporary artists, Yoko Ono continues to challenge the world to reject war, violence and sexism in all Nations
I love this video. It is one of my life's fondest dreams to share a cup of tea with Yoko Ono and talk about her art and my art and a mutual love of peace. Maybe some day it will happen.

She tries so hard to be alternative and thinks that being bizzare equals talent. Hey Yoko this is arty this is edgy but its still shit.

the song would be good if you found a replacement on the vocals. Ono is a good songwriter, but a horrible singer.
