There was Elvis, then Michael Jackson, (yes, theyre legends, never to be replaced). But its weird, Michael has left us, and now there's Adam, the next big thing. The timing is strange. Most people I talk to say he kinda reminds them of Elvis. I love Adam singing The Prayer, the Upright Caberet song after that, n singing in Wicked. He's so cute.

I just returned from the A.i. Concert. Sensational!!!! ALL the top 10 have improved since the show concluded. Megan, Lil, Matt, Scott & Michael were never my faves. But, tonight, they were wonderful. Danny blew me away with his salsa steps to "Maria." However, the super-star was Adam. Wolstein Center went crazy when he appeared on stage. And, the screaming & cheering never stopped thruout his set. I now KNOW, Adam's going global!
Luv "Come Home" he always makes the song his own.That "slow down" gesture he just is so in charge of every aspect of his shows. A true artist and talent!

As someone who relied solely on you during Adam's American Idol journey (I started watching after his satisfaction debut), I am infinitely grateful for your efforts.
I beg of you to ignore random anonymous feedback of people who are not happy (especially on youtube). You can't please everyone. I for one appreciate the ending. It was one of my favorite performances by him to date.

I'm not sure I understand your question, though. What about the demo reel did you feel was negative? The song "Believe"? I included that clip because Adam's vocals were so strong and pure, and because he took a disco anthem and re-interpreted it as a love song.
messedupmal....I agree. The real test of Adam's career launch will be his debut album. WE, the buying public have the power to make his dream come true. Double platinum is a distinct possibliity--if we all go out and buy, buy, buy.
we all agree!!!if only every glamberts would buy at least 10copies of his upcoming album plus all the average people who just simply love him but not so fanatic atleast 1... nd if we help him promote every single thing he does eveyday he will be the most successful artist in the history of idol.
I think Adam will do great on his first album because of post-AI support. The important thing is continuing to support him so he doesn't have a sophomore slump or fade away after the first album, like the great majority of idol alumni do. I really want Adam to have longevity in the industry.... he deserves it.

csereix... Excitedly bought tkts to two shows in upcoming Idol tour (a FIRST for me). My mother said she hasn't seen me "act like this" since the time I stood all night in the freezing rain so I could be first in line when ELVIS tkts went on sale at 7 a.m.! (Wow--how differently concerts were handled before the internet!) I never thought I'd feel (or act) this way again. I still don't quite know what to make of it, but I'm thrilled for Adam (& for us)!!!!!!
mielel....I saw Elvis, in person, too. And, it WAS more than a show. I see our Adam as being capable of giving that same caliber of performance. I really envision him playing to packed stadiums throughout the world....
Here's the thing...I never thought I'd "get over" Elvis!!! I saw him perform several times, and it was more than a show...it was an experience. Mesmerizing. I believed there would NEVER be another performer who could draw you in, hold you there, then breathe back through you the way Elvis did...UNTIL ADAM.

I absolutely LOVE "The Prayer." I know he can't put everything on his debut album...but, I'm hoping this song is on it. There have been rumors that Adam's Jewish. Not that it matters...but, I believe working with the Jewish community has merely been a "gig" for him--a way to pay the light bill. Although...I must say...his Hebrew is quite fluent, and accurate.

Whenever Im off work - or even at work..i visit Adam. I have found so much comfort in his angel voice. (I've been through radiation and illness since Christmas - and have found Adam to be more healing then any medication or therapy ever could be. He is my angel boy!

I just returned from the A.i. Concert. Sensational!!!! ALL the top 10 have improved since the show concluded. Megan, Lil, Matt, Scott & Michael were never my faves. But, tonight, they were wonderful. Danny blew me away with his salsa steps to "Maria." However, the super-star was Adam. Wolstein Center went crazy when he appeared on stage. And, the screaming & cheering never stopped thruout his set. I now KNOW, Adam's going global!

I'm not sure I understand your question, though. What about the demo reel did you feel was negative? The song "Believe"? I included that clip because Adam's vocals were so strong and pure, and because he took a disco anthem and re-interpreted it as a love song.

I think Adam will do great on his first album because of post-AI support. The important thing is continuing to support him so he doesn't have a sophomore slump or fade away after the first album, like the great majority of idol alumni do. I really want Adam to have longevity in the industry.... he deserves it.

csereix... Excitedly bought tkts to two shows in upcoming Idol tour (a FIRST for me). My mother said she hasn't seen me "act like this" since the time I stood all night in the freezing rain so I could be first in line when ELVIS tkts went on sale at 7 a.m.! (Wow--how differently concerts were handled before the internet!) I never thought I'd feel (or act) this way again. I still don't quite know what to make of it, but I'm thrilled for Adam (& for us)!!!!!!

Here's the thing...I never thought I'd "get over" Elvis!!! I saw him perform several times, and it was more than a show...it was an experience. Mesmerizing. I believed there would NEVER be another performer who could draw you in, hold you there, then breathe back through you the way Elvis did...UNTIL ADAM.

I absolutely LOVE "The Prayer." I know he can't put everything on his debut album...but, I'm hoping this song is on it. There have been rumors that Adam's Jewish. Not that it matters...but, I believe working with the Jewish community has merely been a "gig" for him--a way to pay the light bill. Although...I must say...his Hebrew is quite fluent, and accurate.

Whenever Im off work - or even at work..i visit Adam. I have found so much comfort in his angel voice. (I've been through radiation and illness since Christmas - and have found Adam to be more healing then any medication or therapy ever could be. He is my angel boy!

To all the Christians out there, yes, the Bible clearly states homosexuality is wrong, but that is not the only way we are to look at a person. Its his business, and we can appreciate people for their merits, aside from their sins. The fact that Adam is gay doesnt diminish his amazing talent, nor the power of his magnificent performances. He trancends mere labels, and reveals the beauty of the human soul. I wish him much success.

Actually, the Bible is quite contradictory on the subject. Readers can draw very different conclusions depending on the translation used and how they interpret different phrases.
Some, but not all, of the Bible's negative statements are easily dismissed. However, the Bible also includes statements that many think are supportive of probably homosexual reationships (Ruth, David and Jonathan.)
The Bible is less clear on the topic than many espouse.
