Thanx for this! I live near Eggmuehl and know the described locations of your vid. Now I can imagine that battlefield much better. Plz check out my Eggmuehl vids, too. They were taken in Hagelstadt, where a large cavalry battle took place near Eggmuehl.
You're welcome! Although I must admit, that in order to fit Wes's hypothetical scenario into history I made some "geographical re-alignments." Leierndorf is actaully north of the Gross Laber River and from what I saw on Google-Earth, there's no discernable hill between Paring and Leierndorf. I made-up the names of the woods & hills, using German to describe their positions on the battlefield: "Middle Hill," "South Woods," etc. I'll be sure to check out your vids. Thanks again. Sincerely, Ted.
Thank you for your comments! You're right about the lighting. I took these pictures with a small digital camera & tiny flash. Initially they were for my own benefit in order to write a battle report. But when I ended up with 76 pictures I decided to make use of them. Thanks again. Sincerely, Ted
A little hard to see the figures. Some more lighting would have helped. Overall, was nicely done. You must have put quite a bit of work into this. Great job! Makes me want to play Napoeonics.
Thanks for the compliment!
