well since im canadian we celebrate it in october. we use to)till my parents seperated) have thanksgiving dinner 2-3 times one day my grandmas one day mine and sometimes we'll have a third day so the sat, sun and mond. Now I just either go down south or with my dad. BUT now starting this year cause so many canadians would go black friday shopping in the states they brought it here to canada(some stores) so now this time of year we get black friday shopping now:)

@missburn Sinterklaas was a saint (Saint Nikolaas) that did good things. There's this story about three little boys who where murders and put into a barrel (this was closed), and Saint Nikolaas opened the barrel and the three boys where alive again.

We honour him when we celebrate Sinterklaas (on 5/12) almost the same way you celebrate christmas; with presents, mostly with family. But Sinterklaas 'really' comes to Holland on his boat, and goes away on 6/12. For more info, search on Google!! ;)

But I live in pennsylvania, and in my town we have " Light-up Night" it's this friday and the whole town gets decorated for christmas and theres lights everywhere and theres food, shops, and bonfires around.
