Then why is he getting low kicked into oblivion by Daniel Ghita in K1? I agree he could be a force in the UFC, certainly make some interesting fights. I was really excited at the prospect of Aleks v. Timmy and Sergei v. Andrei when the UFC took over Pride but they both seemed to have fallen off the radar, too bad for us. I don't however see Sergei beating any top 5 guys right now anyway. Lesnar, Cain, Carwin, Mir or Fedor but a fight with Junior Dos Santos would be brilliant.

sergei is the biggest waste of talent from PRIDE. the guy destroyed rua and rizzo in devastating fashion. went the distance with a prime Nogueira at only 23 years old. he had excellent boxing with a sambo base. too bad he let himself go when PRIDE went umder

I think Arlovski is smart enough to avoid Kharitonov. Fedor is a nice guy who prefers submissions, (or 1 punch kO), and Arlovski made $1.5m from the fight. While Kharitonov likes brute force, and arlovski will make MAYBE half the $ as against Fedor, and for getting brain damage.
