The PS2 controllers are self-calibrating. If you don't reach max accelleration then the controller is defective.

@miggtt699 The game is made by Polyphony Digital. The very same company that made GT4. Why spend time and money on making new tracks when you already have lot's of great tracks?

@exdeath77 Admittedly it made sense for Polyphony to re-use 95% of GT4, but for those that avidly played GT4, it did somewhat diminish the wow factor of TT. This despite of myself being a bike fan and Polyphony fan.

I find that you can go faster by using a different controller. The analogue on the controller that came with the ps2 does reach max acceleration.

@christhesnaildriver I use a wireless controller from gamestop. Also, i meant to say that the controller that comes with the ps2 does NOT allow you reach maximum acceleration but you can reach max speeds.

Yes. It supports two player split screen. And it's a lot of fun. :)

In arcade mode and two-player mode you have access to most of the bikes i think. Though only racing versions in 2P-mode.

In Tourist Trophy mode you must earn bikes by winning races.

I had no bloody idea this game existed. I watched a interview with the creation director of Criterion and he mentioned that he was playing Gran Turismo 4 again and Tourist Trophy which he said is Gran Turismo with motorcycles. I didn't think he meant it literarly. I'll be damned... I gotta get this. I gotta have them both. Cool video :D

im surprised no-ones told him how slow he is at this game.

your braking too much your too scared to really open the throttle.

you need to hit the apex's and turn into the corners as soon as you are about to brake.

brake later rather than earlier. that way then you can brake half way through the corner

also dont be afraid to cut the corner a little bit and when braking for the corner let go of L2 thenall the way through the corner once youve done that first bit of braking keep L2 held down =]
