Your 1st Eggbert and Eggy reminds me a lot of a 70s educational style cartoon... essentially because you produced it almost the same way they did back then. But man... pretty labor intensive stuff... Another esoteric idea in the back of my mind is how to replicate a xerography look with computer 2D animation. Vector drawings look "too crisp," even with video aging. I don't even have a vague plan for that, tho...
thanks. and i meant yea uve gotten pretty close. lol. especially in the opening part, but when the robot starts talking, it looks computer. i mean especially the background art looks 60s/70s. and the robot style also looks retro, but i think if u didnt make the robot bounce up and down , just move its arms, and switch to different angles of it talking, it would look more 70s style.
I think you're right about the bouncing vs. just sitting there with blinking eyes. On the one hand, I'm trying to get toward a style that has elements of Hanna Barbara, Filmation, and those old ridiculously limited animation Marvel cartoons that Minoriteam is an homage to. On the other hand, my goal is really to be able to produce watchable cartoons rapidly and cheaply for the internet. I'm nowhere near there yet, but I'm actually studying animation now -- I think it's attainable.
That reeeeeeeeeeally looks like a lot of work. Actually I'm leaning more to the opposite end of the spectrum, trying to figure out programs like Anime Studio and Toon Boom
Dude, chill on Mysterywalker, he's a GOOD Utubian... hey, wait a minute, there's a certain protocol in place here that you seem to be ignorant of. Maybe YOU'RE the rat!
Well... the problem is that I'm never really in a situation where I can record myself ranting with privacy. People leave me alone at times, but they're either sleeping or working nearby pretty much 24-7. On instances where I am alone, someone could show up at any minute. It's not like they'd stop me from ranting, but it would really throw my groove off. Plus I'm always drunk when I record Frankenstein videos and I can't drink out here.
ah Hanna Barbara...memories.

I really miss Hanna Barbara. Craptastic animation was genuinely fun and inventive with well-constructed, if somewhat formulaic, stories

Very Hanna-Barbara! Cool Design! I love the eyes flashing with the voice.

yea ive gotten pretty close, only thing is that i dont think they bounced up and down so smoothly like in this video. only a computer could do that

Your return is most welcome.
One question, since you just put out this video, the day before, there was a new channel created. Are you involved with this? UTUBIANARCHY
or is it possibly a creation of the agitator, googlelies and googlefall?
utubiapresident2 3 years ago
This is my only channel for now. I might launch a new one as I get closer to producing technically well made and entertaining somewhat popular videos
