  • cchj768 Actually, many of those "rebel MPs" and their constituents DID have the guts and intelligence, and DID do their part to guide Britain. As much polish as Churchill gets, he was still just one man alongside his cabinet, parliament, military and entire fellow citizenry. He did what he did but, mostly, he just was where he was.

  • At about 2:00 - world's first reductio ad Hitlerum.

  • Cripps and other British Stalinists were twits.

  • teslagod2003 are you on drugs?

  • roylee, sad to say,but 50 yrs wont do,we will never know when would the world realize what kind of world we have now...

the world may never had a chance to know how to solve such heavy problems that our world has now,as long as the power remains in the hands of +++++...

i prefer no longer point, but just state a belief, explain and point out no more hatred...

  • :46 Oh no... of course not. Stalin would never ever interfere with the internal affairs of another country. lol

Ahh... Poland? Perhaps Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania? Hmmmmm.

  • Wartime politics in a democracy/republic are always facinating.

The re-election of Lincoln in 1864 and Roosevelt 100 years later were other 'votes of confidence'.

Naturally people will always disagree with their leaders, and 20/20 hindsight is always a dangerous preoccupation in historiography, but it almost seems inevitable that these leaders would remain in office.

"Changing the horse in midstream" and all that.

  • BLACK MARKET IS BEING STOPPED LOL

  • I like 10:06 when the politician awkwardly reclines onto the desk.

  • ha ha, yes

  • roylee you sound like hitler! - dirty fascist!

  • Do You have any idea what you're talking about?

  • You suck really bad. You have very low IQ

  • Pathetic how they voted no confidence in Churchill's leadership. Not one of them would have the guts or the intelligence to lead Britain through the worst crisis it had ever faced.

  • Only 25 voted No Confidence. Anyway, is it not a great thing that democracy was alive and (quite) well in Britain in 1942? Can you imagine a vote of no confidence in Htiler or Mussolini at that time?!

  • @cchj768 well,it's just a safety method,noone wanna wind up like chamberlaine...

and so far churchill had did his best and proved much better than chamberlaine...

i'm no fan of churchill, but only someone that has a true neverdie spirit, who are very very rare, could take the worst condition into better condition...

being a leader, specially on the wost condition isn't easy task...
