  • he has a style like steve vai so nice

  • @escarnate

Steve Vai? He sounds like Steve Vai as much as he sounds like Joe Pass

  • Its all a lie. Jason Becker doesnt have ALS.......jk. this is the first japanese guy playing guitar ive ever seen that isnt playing some anime themesong sounding guitar riff.

  • Sounds like a song from a "Castlevania" game, specially between 00.18 and 00.33 LOL

  • @FernandeVendetta omg i was think the same xD

  • omg Mom?!?!

  • Go SpiderHand! Nice one!

  • asians are very talented at guitar, but i notice all their stuff sounds like it belongs in a video game or something.

  • @SensiRootsBoy i agree. there's also my friend (asian) he's good at guitar too and he sounds like an ending of cartoons. pls check out his videos. jm lozada my deep frustration vid. Asians are really somethin!!

  • @Metalmania6666 herman li is the professional video maker like fast forward....

  • @SensiRootsBoy why do u think alot of fighting games have song with killer solos

  • @SensiRootsBoy totally agree with you,but i must say this, guitar isnt racing track, and the speed is not talent for me,i think that everyone who can sit and practice for 8 hours can do this,i dont mean to say that this guy is bad or shit,but...

  • @SensiRootsBoy Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that most video games throughout history have come from Japan could it?

  • YES!

  • Steven Tyler ?

  • Its funny how from 0:00 to 0:19 it sounds really cold and the rhythm sounds really thin on the drums whereas from 0:52 to 1:05 its one of those genious melodic shredding with lots of feeling in it :S the second one is 'only' tapping though..

  • that brolic , this is the type of shit i love to see in guitar players good shredding

  • 1:20 onwards..

  • I would sell my wive for playing like that ;) !

    Fred

  • @speeluh send me a pic of your wife and lets negociate !!

  • he's like an Asian Steve Vai

  • HOLY SHIT! It's Jon Bon Jovi!

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 john bon jovi wishes he was this good.

  • @SlashWorshipper1993 his asian version maybe =x

  • 2:06 - 2:17 is just beautiful :]

  • Johnny Depp??!!

  • Please dont play like this unless giving me the Young Guitar tab

  • Can't say that I'm a fan of the tone or the playing. The picking may be somewhat fast, but it sounds really choppy and amateur-ish.

  • I love watch video like this... they give me alot of inspiration to practice more!

  • 1:24 Probably the coolest lick ever played by anyone on any instrument in the entire musical history of history.

  • This is one of the most incredible and original shreds I've heard in a long time. Yasuo Yamamoto is fucking awesome!

  • its all about speed for people isnt it

  • I need to do a distortion like that in a Zoom G2 x.x, anyone know any patch?

  • this guy shredding .. really matching the sound that i like...damn cool! ^^

  • ah hes much better than me

  • some parts sound nice and some sound like total emotionless crap, yes this guy can play, and the thing about japanese that have no soul is complete bulshit.but micheal romeo or any known guitarist can otuplay this guy with class, this sounds like 50% crap 50% good.good jap guitar is jun senou or kelly simonz.but this is guy is just trying to do a rusty cooley.

  • there are so many asian shredders on youtube, there must be something in the water over there

  • @MrZeppelinofled rofl xD

  • i love plating guitar its like the best thing ever and he plays it for fun probably so if and so do i people who play because they want money...thats just sad....if i play guitar its because i love to play it and if i could money for it i wouldnt care i mean i would like that but i just want to play guitar just because its so fun

  • excellent legato technic

  • nada del otro mundo

  • yngwie who?

  • 2 inches of hard cock!

  • Kung Fu Halen

  • he looks like a japanese eddy van halen

  • guitar pro?

  • I thought the intro was ignorant

  • Nice!

  • wow, this is mind blowing !!! This guy is a genius !

  • That reverse headstock looks soooo nasty

  • he is amazingh

  • awesome guitarist!!!

  • i find inspiration everyday

  • asians can do anything

  • @mausimus Except going to moon ;)

  • Must be Jason Becker and Malmsteen inspired.

I wonder if the tab is in Young Guitar?

  • muy buen tema

  • what song is this?

  • eeeeeeeewwwwww

    shred...

  • Such an amazing guitarist. This video makes me want to just practice guitar even more :)

  • man after watching this i feel fucking insane

  • I've got the GP-TAB OF THIS SONG if you want it only send me a message...¡¡¡

  • What how am i suppost to compete with that! show me a guitarist that sucks so i feel good about myself

  • Flawless technique. My mind is officially blown. This was so unexpected.

  • im so proud to own one of these! fucking awsome guitar!!!

  • daaaaaamn,

this reminds me of how bad my cross-picking is, haha

  • I swear I have heard something like this before. I dont know from where but its the same melodys.Maybe from a video game? Or Malmsteen? Or maybe from Malmsteen's twin fat brother who plays video games? IDK. But im sure Ive heard this before

  • u guys r really jealous, instead of stay here badmouthing the guy, go pickup a guitar and play...

I think he is very good...

good technique, good vibrato, good bend, good phrasing...

  • Shitty guitarist.

  • I dont think that guy doesnt know how to spell "reallife". lol

  • @Blader999

Neither do you, it has a space in it ;)

  • @MrAakmt I shred, I'm excused, like the guy above :P

  • i swear to learn something like that

  • wow

  • God.....just fantastic

  • i love how he puts all his emotion in to such speedy playing, and how he scaled the neck so fast and alternatly picked.... amazing

  • it's a fucking highspeed video..malmsteen is better but not versatile..watch..Jason Becker

  • sounds like everyone else

  • amazing speeeeeeeeeed dude

But is this what guitaring has come to?

How fast we play? I'm the fastest but playing with feeling and passion is much better, don't worry if your new to guitar , this guy must of gone over the same scales a million times , respect

  • @MrPerfectfeet he did play with alot of feeling, he was just playing fast also. You can still play incredibly fast, and with alot of emotion.

  • @MrPerfectfeet im sick of people saying that shred has no feeling. You can't quantify passion or emotion- perhaps to him this piece has more emotional vicissitudes than moonlight sonata. Plus, get a new fucking criticism. Everyone says that, you aren't original.

  • @merederem Exactly.

  • @merederem One of my favorite demos aside from syu>>>>>show some more pal...thanks

  • @merederem : i don't know how long have you been listening.....ya i agreed some point that shredding is not always playing but i can say this guy rockz, some nice melodies full of technical neo classical playing....he is a virtuoso man with clean strokes with stretched fingering style.....

  • @merederem : i don't know how long have you been listening.....ya i agreed some point that shredding is not always playing but i can say this guy rockz, some nice progressive riffs and solo melodies full of technical neo classical playing....he is a virtuoso man with clean strokes with stretched fingering style.....

  • It would be so great if he dropped his pick at 1:18

  • i somehow think this is chinese metal

  • I can play this with my eyelids

  • LMFAO!!!

  • Fuck...why the asians Are good in Everything .

  • because there are a billion of them xD

  • LOL well that's true !!! XD

  • @Rennanxp2

"WELCOLME mly fliend we ale in chlina"

But one thing they are bad........"big dicks" xD EHEHEHEHEHEHE

    (jocking) LOL

  • LOL

  • well in schools (I was told) in certain asian countries, they only have one extracurricular activity so they pick something and stick with it (and become amazing)

  • They're amazing anyways LOL

Im so lazy to Get an extracurricular activity ... so that for me is amazing !

  • what a beast

  • omg this guy is a monster !

  • tabs?

    :D

  • Ohhhhhhh yes!!!!

  • very nice. I like how at 2:00 where it sounds like the sound melts away

  • And what is the title of this song? Copa Cabana Asian Tropicana? XDDDDDDDD lol

Really original and interesting piece of music. And his abilities are sick !!!

  • its suzuka margarita maaaaaaaan!

  • Watching stuff like this makes me want to stop learning guitar. I feel good when I learn a new metallica riff, but after watching this i just feel fucking useless.

  • @t0v3 I feel exactly the same, i kinda stopped playing... cause to reach this kinds of levels one would need many love and time for the guitar.

  • @t0v3 hahahahah

ya but even if everybody on earth was as good as this, only you have your own style...so even if ppl are better than you, they can still come and see your concert......build it and people will come

  • you really shouldn't cuz if you break it down and truly work on it, in time you'll learn things in this neighborhood.

all it takes is practice, patience and dedication.

never be discouraged by flurries of 16th/32th notes....ever.

if you cant do that, then play the best you can.

because technique don't make music, expression does...technique only helps you get the feeling across.

  • wish i had the time to practice as i would like...i have half an hour a day ..and i just play just to keep my fingers in shape...

  • I agree, practice, practice, practice and breaking fast parts of a song down really helps too.

  • @t0v3 lol kirk hammet is a nice guy but hes not amazingly technical . yeh man u should try to learn something like this just to build up speed. well i wouldnt learn this. id go for some paul gilbert or something. but metallica are still my fave band despite who my fave guitar player is

  • @t0v3

Don't. Metallica's touched lives with its music. This guy (although a good player) is just wanking.

  • @t0v3 lol don't get discouraged man, just think about it, this guy had to be as good as you are at some point. And he probably thought he could never be this good too.

  • @Cloc817 actually no guitarists who go to MIT and GIT in japan who have dreams of being big in the metal scene all believe they will be this good >=3 THATS what pushes them there *heart heart*

it doubt lazyness and slacking attitude that keeps you from this talent =P

  • @Trezveil being a guitarist myself, i can back up that statement very truthfully. people who have been close to me my whole life always tell me that im a great player and fast, but personally, i still am NOWHERE near guys like this or my goal of playing Malmsteen style arpeggios. i know im getting closer to it, but im still not good enough.

  • @CaptainAshra You will get there =3 TO play like that it has to be your life *o* I love guitar so much and i will one day play in a band after i graduate from GIT *.* I have to get there first *Study study*

  • @Trezveil i will keep practicing every second i can. there are no bands around me area really, so im pretty much making my own. i dont have the money for GIT so im doing it the old fasioned way... just playing until i get good....

  • @Trezveil Autodidacticism-ish?

i would love to go to GITJapan でも日本語わかりません。Still learning but anyway i've always wanted to just wake up one morning get dress and go to a school full of musicians just walking down the hall ways hearing people play and create music and have musical discussions with one another.(that would be a highlight in my life if i ever get there)

  • @t0v3 For your comfort, which do you think have achieved more? James Hetfield's riffs or this random Jap guy's shredding?

  • @SpectralUltra if showed to a 1,000,000 guitar players this would achieve aprox. 1,000,000 % more than james hetfields riffs

  • @Ozznize Sure. My point wasn't that though...

  • @t0v3 don't give up. One day you will wake up and play a thousand times better than him ;-))

  • @t0v3 don't give up ! One day you'll wake up and play a thousand times better than him ;-))

  • @t0v3 rofl look up neoclassical sweep. then its the asian guy from storm rider.

  • @t0v3 Don't Give up dude, Practice Practice Practice

  • @t0v3 omg i know...:(

  • @hhahahaha

    that is true

    xD

  • @t0v3 Haha yea i use to feel like it. but i learned sweeping and got some confidence, start out slow with 3 string arpeggios.

  • @Windmills618 NO, that's not how to get strenght and speed in your fingers. You must practice the scales everyday for 5 to 6 hours with a metronome until you can run the scales up and down the neck of the guitar without difficulty. I mean fluid movement hitting the notes or if you can do it with hammer ons and pull offs and eventually get enough speed and strength in your fingers to do the same thing as the guy on the video. Dont worry if you start slow, your speed will build up gradually.

  • @t0v3 I have heard that there are two kinds of geniuses in the world, those that inspire and motivate us and those that make us want to quit

    Be the one who inspires

Honestly, I stopped it after 2:06 and silence sounds and feels golden

  • wow!!!!god why not go to the U.S. and fight ehad to head with the heathens...this is guy has good finger moves

  • @t0v3

Dont stop. This guys are not human. :D

  • @t0v3 It takes practice. I knew a guy who was already doing stuff like this in the 10th grade and he just plays like this too. That was a long time ago even before fusion was born. His guitar teacher teaches him to do the scales (dorian. locrian, ionian, mixolydian, lydian, phrygian, pentatonic, melodic, harmonic, chromatic, octatonic, diatonic, hexatonic, heptatonic, etc) with a metronome and that's all he did throughout the year. Everyday running scales with his fingers for 5 hours.

  • @t0v3 ?????????????

  • @t0v3 yea but just think that that is wat he does for $ he prob like is practicing 20 hours a day, and completely slaving over it.

  • @t0v3 Keep cool, just a jap shred robot like many clons in japan. This people

are beaten every day and have no fun in their life.

  • @t0v3 that kind of attitude is what destroys your musical talent. you have to learn to take these kind of things into a point that makes you wanna get better. even famous guitarist still a fan of another and of course adapt to their style of playing. they take them into their life as a inspiration/boost to improve their skills. practice makes perfect.

  • @this1koreankid he looks like hes having fun to me haha, hes not in a sweat shop or anything :P

  • @t0v3 Dude I know what you're talking about. But instead, swear to yourself that you ARE going to reach the same level. It's impossible, but it starts you up for a time.

  • man i cant believe that i nerver heard of this guy is fucking awsome...

  • awesome playing!! how does he make that sound at 0:50?

  • you need a floyd rose for this. you turn the bar so its facing away from the neck, hit a note and immediatly throw your arm back and hit the wammy bar causing the whole trem system to shake and get that weird noise

  • he used the whammy bar =3

  • what...the...fuck... that's surreal

  • 2:00 nice legato lick

  • i'm left speechless...

  • やば!

  • his style is totally diferenten than malmsteen

i'm a huge fan of malmsteen and i've never seen this kind of legato in malmsteen skils also the melody is absolutely diferent

also i disagree with the shred somone said that this shred doesn´t have melody but all the song is melody i mean the melody is awesome even when he play as fast as the light

great play great guitar amzing performance

  • totally like Malmsteen.

The technique is just simply perfect and amazing, but I really hate these shredding songs...

I just don't get them musically...

Even though, the skills are amazing...
