well, i work at Pemberton meadows next to big sky, where Jared filmed this slide, me and my employees got a call on the radio that the whole middle Chute Sluff was about to gO, it had been radio'd to everyone in the area to beware, both big sky and meadows water sheds are right below Middle Chute, it was an amazing slide, too bad mostly all high alpine was closed on Blackcomb because of the high temps. but then again the west flute sluff fell Long before Heavenly and Chainsaw, weird.
Jared didn't film this, I filmed it while playing golf with my buddy... And I'm definitely not Jared - but I know Jared (if it's the same cat who used to work at the Wildwood). I'm a totally different guy than Jared...and my name at this juncture of time isn't important. But suffice it to say my buddy's name I was golfing with was Sir John H.
Ya, according to patrol, Heavenly Basin slid at 6pm the same day - not sure when Chainsaw went but it's bound to happen - huge temp increase overnight and sunbaked... Was awesome!! Glad I was golfing and not skiing!!

That's pretty cool and pretty loud too. Too bad we don't have any video of the Chainsaw Ridge and Heavenly Basin slides last Saturday.
