i'm a noob when it comes to street fighter and I've been wondering why do I see some players rapidly push buttons before a match starts and sometimes after the match is over, also is there a strategy to all the hadokens or is it just spamming in hopes of getting a hit? Thanks for any assistance in answering my questions
@AAAAAHTEEMATU247 its pretty complicated i recommend looking it up. for lamens terms Plinking would be doing a hadouken motion and pressing 3 differnt punch buttons one after the other which gives you 3 chances to pull off a hadoken. Option select is doing a shurekyn motion and pressing throw button. that way it gives you one of 2 chances of either throwing, or dragon punching. this is important because it counters your oppents throw by teching or dragon punching.

lol it's fireballing is just part of a zoning and footsies game for ryu. ryu doesnt have a way to get in safely except for safe jumps which cant happen as such distances when youre going to fireball, crouching forward, and maybe roundhouse tatsu if you can predict a fireball and is also in range. turtling is just playing safe especially when you have the life lead because why the hell would you want to go in and risk losing the life lead. but yes he did get owned here.

@Tha1337ness generally we compare 2 pro players on who would win best outa 10 matches, going to 100 is just a more accurate version. We can basically just say Daigo would win 2 out every 3 games against Tokido. Tokido is a different player than Shin, Tokido is basically the best current Akuma out there.
After watching Tokido, Daigo, Momochi, etc on these ranked battles, I've noticed they sometimes put limitations on themselves and do not fully play like they would in a tournament. Which makes sense, do what you want to do. So Daigo sometimes uses up more meter, or Tokido doesn't vortex, but people lose and that's the truth. Daigo is still a great player, but hey, it happens.

Punishing a whiffed sweep with an ultra . Bloody insane!!!. Just keep watching from 2:23.
Its ideal to neutral jump a fireball 'cause you typically can't be punished. A habit for players is to poke someone when they land from a jump. Tokido knew this and so did Daigo. Hence why Daigo did a s.lk to shift his hurtbox away from the sweep so he could punish Tokido's sweep. Since Tokido thought this might happened (I think) he buffered kara demon, waited for s.lk and pressed 3+hp+lk.
@ldzatoichi yeah I see what you mean, he's gone for the sweep and been caught big time! I've never seen anyone hit with the raging demon as often as Tokido..mind blowing. Hell I rarely see anyone using the raging, i.e momochi.
Just sheer awesomeness radiates from him. THE main reason why I main Akuma is because of what Tokido can do with him. Just hope I can master him like he did.
It is hilarious to see some people say that this is not Daigo or Faigo or Taigo or Vaigo or whatever he wants to call himself...just because he lost. 1st of all, this is a match of one hadouken vs another hadouken. People don't believe Daigo can lose because all they see is his tournament play. Everyone loses. The difference between the better players and the average dummy is that they learn from those losses and win where it counts; the tournament.

Daigo is way too clutch to lose to those weak combos by tokedo. This is definately not daigo playing because he is a much better player than the one thats supposedly to be "daigo". Punishing a whiffed sweep with an ultra . Bloody insane!!!. Just keep watching from 2:23.
Its ideal to neutral jump a fireball 'cause you typically can't be punished. A habit for players is to poke someone when they land from a jump. Tokido knew this and so did Daigo. Hence why Daigo did a s.lk to shift his hurtbox away from the sweep so he could punish Tokido's sweep. Since Tokido thought this might happened (I think) he buffered kara demon, waited for s.lk and pressed 3+hp+lk.

@ldzatoichi yeah I see what you mean, he's gone for the sweep and been caught big time! I've never seen anyone hit with the raging demon as often as Tokido..mind blowing. Hell I rarely see anyone using the raging, i.e momochi.

It is hilarious to see some people say that this is not Daigo or Faigo or Taigo or Vaigo or whatever he wants to call himself...just because he lost. 1st of all, this is a match of one hadouken vs another hadouken. So right there the odds are even. Two cheap characters facing on another. It's just about who gets lucky from that point on. Secondly, I'm tired of all the Laigo or Saigo or Daigo dick riding going on. The guy uses a cheap easy to use character not some difficult to use one. LoL.
