  • I don't get what he's doing with his finger. there's different delays for the circle to follow his finger every time he puts his finger into a new square, sometimes it's there before his finger gets there.

Is this to show ... an idea for interactive holograms?

because what i saw isn't very believable that this one is interactive, and it's just a guy moving his finger around while a video plays the circle moving around.

  • ever see 'bones'?...

instead of having the water mist come only from the bottom, they had it come from the top too... it made a better more stable picture.

  • in reference to all of these 3D Helio videos--- You need to move the camera around the projection as it is being recorded so we can get a better semblance of the 3D effect. The way it is, with the camera in a static position it looks no more 3D than any typical 3D rendering on a typical 2D screen.

  • This product could be very useful to the medical field in the future if the picture could remain solid looking.

  • @jinnakor I think they already use it in the medical field? The reason it's not solid is that there is a thin sheet of vapor that the monitor is using to project onto. It's not really 3d either. It's close to a 2d screen, but it can appear 3d with the right type of programming.
