Most gospel rap isnt as evangelistic as it was in the 90's. The artists today are experimenting with new sounds and styles. The potential danger is in losing the message of the cross. As for erica's music, I will say in her defense that she did refer listeners to the Bible, which never speaks against prosperity but materialism. She also acknowledged God in her giving, (matthew 6:33) so counting dollars in front of a mercedes may send the wrong message but otherwise good music
