There are videos of a Brute's projectile being caught and thrown back, so I imagine you could do the same with the female Slasher too. Can't test it myself, at present.

@Antagram DS2's Puker has a projectile bomb (besides the spit) that can be caught (class 5 object), but I never tested the DS1 "Spitter" (Slasher Female). I'll have to see to that eventually.

Then the lazy fiend will resort to spitting, eventually. But it's only the females that spit (not tested extensively).
