  • Looks nice

  • A new Vikings stadium would be good for Minnesota, but even better if it were paid for from sources other than tax dollars. I am a huge Vikings fan, but I still see the flaws in forcing non-football fans to contribute. If the team truly is so imporatnt to so many Minnesotans, a Green Bay Packers-style stock sale would be an effective means of raising money. The Packers are currently an exception to NFL rules, but why not take this opportunity to challenge the status quo of stadium funding?

  • A dumb asses if you worried about your job in minnesota let the L A vikings ride laker colors to make great for........... L A GO VIKINGS

  • @rubengarcia1999 It won't happen they can't fit another stadium unless it's a california bound team like San Diego chargers

  • Thumbs up if you thhink Aron rodgers is gay and fucks men ass

  • This is so sad because I'm a die hard Saints fan and if the Vikings move to Los Angeles and be name something else then I would tell myself "Man my Saints played in the NFC Championship against a team that doesn't exist no more" that would suck!!! But why not L.A.??? Huh at least is not Oklahoma city

  • @saintswarrior9 Actually, if the Vikings somehow move to LA, LA will most likely keep the Nordic name that makes no sense in sunny Southern California. Don't believe me? See LA Dodgers and LA Lakers for proof. Those teams were originated in Brooklyn and Minneapolis.

  • I love how the Packer's Rivals seem to admire them soo much. Hearing people in court rooms saying that they had more fun at Lambeau then they ever did in Minnesota, that the Vikings should do what the Packers have done, its all very flattering. I hope for Minnesota's sake that the Vikings can remain in the state. Its times like these where i really appriciate not having a single team owner

  • You don't need a flashy stadium renovate the OLD one . need parking do like the packers did .

  • Im a packer fan but the NFC north wouldn't be same without the vikings! People in Minnesota just pay a lil more and build your team a new stadium!! And make it 1. Not cave in ;) and 2. Make it better than shitty soldier field! Da bears still suck!

  • i guess haters will be haters and players will be player haters

  • have the jaguars go

  • @tripperthe is a queer... :D if u feel bad for the vikings then you wouldnt say LA vikings idiot.

  • what kind of politics would oppose trying to keep such a state assett.. idiots.. im surely not being represented by their idiotic minds.. i think even if this stadium gets done, those that oppose will be voted out!

  • Lets just ask the fat ,uneducated, beer drinking ,chicken wing eating idiots that claim to know everything about football and economics to figure it out.

  • ..GO PACK GO!!!!!

  • @wilatemodel go eat cheese faggot

  • @PolarBearPunch ..wow,...that was mature,...15-1...go pack go,....how did the vikes do this yr?..i wasnt paying attn b cuz the glow of Aaron Rodgers greatness..thats ok,..you guys dont have to worry much longer, the vikes are going to LA.

  • @wilatemodel

well greenbay is gay but LA best for vikes

  • @wilatemodel I'm a pats fan. So go eat cheese faggot.

  • I truly feel bad for you guys. I know plenty of Minnesotans. A couple of my friends even played for the Twins, but... Go LA Vikings!!!

  • Any money not spent on the Vikings would be spent in other areas.Areas that are much more productive.Instead of giving the sleazeball Wilfs a blank check for a half billion dollars those that favor this should call the Vikings and demand the Wilfs' agree to not profit in any way from any development around the Arden Hills site.

  • Why would they need a new stadium? They suck at the game, 20 yrs of washed up QB's and half-wit coaches don't deserve anything new, let alone get paid for poor/lousy/crappy playing , high school kids play better. The best MN has to look forward to is getting Aaron Rodgers in about 10 yrs.

  • I love the Vikings. Have been a fan for many years and it would suck to see them go. That is all.

  • The "Please don't leave!" video

  • People don't understand how much this would help Minnesota as a state as a whole and not just the Vikings. The stadium would supply tons of jobs, open bars, make money on alcohol tax, help education with all the money it rakes in. We would be able to host many events other than just football. We could have a super bowl here. It would bring much revenue to the state and increase visitors to our state for games!

Build it and they will come!

  • Go Vikings!!! This video shows how hardcore the purple is. I bleed purple and gold...loved the vikings since i was a kid...my parents along with my brothers watch every game every sunday..and we live in los angeles!! The Vikings deserve a new stadium and belong in Minnesota not just for the fans but for football

  • I love how people are talking about not using gambling as a source to fund a new stadium. They say it will promote gambling. I'm sorry, but the people who will use these pull tabs and slot machines are going to use them no matter where their money goes. It's sad to say that have a disease and there's no way to control it. I commend Dayton for looking at every possible way to keep the Vikings in Minnesota. Legislators need to get the ball rolling or risk losing a major part of culture.

  • Build the stadium DOWNTOWN! Nobody wants to drive out to Crap Ass Arden Hills!

  • @51516 Its a PERFECT place for a stadium though dude.

  • @yoshiscute It's out of the way. It has no infrastructure. It's contaminated. It's better than Los Angeles, but it's no where near PERFECT. SKOL!

  • The Vikings need a new stadium, I don't know of any other sports franchise that had to fight so hard to get a new facility.

  • @SimbasGuardWT Only one team has fought harder than the Vikings to get a new stadium. The Minnesota Twins.

  • Lets cut through the crap.If the Vikings are serious about the Arden Hills site the Wilfs' should agree to not profit from the development around that site.Gambling is a cancer. It costs each and every one of us that choose to gamble or not.Who do you think pays for the healthcare, retirement, nursing care thefts from employees that plague problem gamblers? This is nothing more than a gift to the Wilfs',the state may just as well send these sleazebags a check for 300 million.

  • @davedorger just thought I'd let you know that you're probably one of those asshole fans that people talk about after they leave a game they're trying to enjoy. I love my Vikings and you love your Packers. I respect that. No need to be a total dick about the team that I've loved since I was a little kid. It's obnoxious fans like you that take away from the greatness of football. Enjoy your Packers and I'll enjoy my Vikings. No matter how much crap you say...I'll always bleed purple and gold.

  • If they want to use lottery and gambling money, fine, but look who they are taking it from: the people who can ill afford to spend it in the first place. And, if those monies are used, they shouldn't be paid out until the whole sum is in the bank, unless Ziggy wants to pay the State 24% interest on the load.

  • I have something to tell you Zygi Wilf.

If you build it, they will come.

  • @CheddarBob39 Uhh... Gee. Wilf already knows that. The issue is whether the state is willing to help his pay to get it bult.

  • Wait, was that Ron Stewart? I change my stance on the stadium...

  • Anyone who doesn't realize the state would get WAY more than 300 million back on their investment is just plain ignorant. Think about it. All the food, merch, hotels, tickets etc... are all TAXED! I am not even taking into account events non Vikings related. I mean, player's salaries are taxed. That means those guys making millions a year, every time they play and get a pay check, the state makes bank on that.

  • @EdgeCrusher71

How DARE you use common sense and logic here?! There is no place for that when it comes to politics! Where taxes actually come from is an extremely secret subject and should not be discussed. Ever. Oh sure, the taxes will more than cover the money put into the stadium, but how long will that take? Two, three, maybe even four seasons? That's like FOREVER from now, and at least one election until then. I will not allow your facts to get in the way of my conclusions.

  • Ziggy should build the dan thing himself. No public money, no "legacy" money, no gambling money. The public schools are far more important yet they get dumped on year after year, but a shiney new stadium? Ya sure ya betcha! Those "7000 new jobs"? All temporary construction jobs which will disappear when its built. If Ziggy wants it, let Ziggy buy the property, clean it up, and build it himself.

  • @GlassArteestMn FACT: Wilf's proposed contribution to this stadium is the 5th highest in NFL history. Think about that. Second fact: He doesn't have enough to build the whole thing by himself. Third fact: The combines salaries of all those millionaire players, their coaches and front office personnel, and the people who build and service the stadium would be taxed BY THE STATE, as would be the money they spend locally. If the team leaves, that money leaves as well. Get a freaking' clue.

  • @rovibe Players salaries are only taxed when they play in the state of Minnesota. Get an effing clue yourself. Let them leave, and don't let the door hit them in the ass on their way out.

  • New vikings stadium? Yes.

Holding them hostage until we give millions of dollars carte blanche to a billionaire so he can build Ziggyworld? No.

  • @jonnyboy88 Wilf's contribution offer is the 5th highest in NFL history. There are 32 teams. The vast majority of them got more public funding for their stadiums than the Vikings are seeking now. You're ignorant. Go home. Put on a pink dress and watch figure skating, that's more your speed.

  • @rovibe The 5th highest contribution you're touting is meaningless when you account for inflation, and the fact stadium costs have tripled in the past 10 years.

I'm not saying there should be no new stadium, or that the state shouldn't pay any of it, just that we shouldn't give him everything he wants. He is a businessman that's trying to make money. Usually there is negotiation between two sides in a business deal.

And stop with the childish insults, treat me like an adult and I'll do the same.

  • @jonnyboy88 I wasn't insulting you when I said you should put on a pink dress and watch figure skating. I was being completely serious. But since your feelings are hurt by that, I'll take it back. Instead, why don't you go put on some lipstick and play with your Barbie dolls?

  • @rovibe I tried having a civil conversation but apparently you have nothing else constructive to say. Maybe when you've grown up a little we can debate things like adults, but I doubt it.

  • @jonnyboy88 See, this is where you're wrong. You can talk shit about Wilf like he's the freakin' devil, but when someone throws it back in your face, you're some kind of angel. That's bullshit, and you're full of it. People like you see only YOUR side of the debate, and insist everyone on the other side is stupid, wrong, or evil. Then you expect others to respect YOUR opinions? That makes you a douchebag and a hypocrite. So how about YOU grow up, and come back when you're ready? Thanks.

  • @rovibe Did I personally insult Ziggy Wilf? No. Was me saying the state shouldn't just be giving money to billionaires no questions asked amount to me calling him the devil? No. That's what makes what I said different from what you said, and if you can't see that you're blind.

If you think my opinions are wrong, say so and say why. Just keep the insults to yourself.

  • @jonnyboy88 Go put on some pantyhose and pick some flowers. You obviously care nothing for football or the good state of Minnesota and everything for yourself.

  • @rovibe Again, you have nothing relevant to say.

It's funny, we both want a new Vikings stadium, yet just disagree on how to pay for it. You think the residents of Ramsey County and St. Paul should pay for most of it, whereas I think Wilf should pay a little more and the WHOLE state should chip in. They are the "Minnesota" Vikings after all, and the whole state benefits from them, as the video states.

  • The Vikings are an extremely important aspect of life and culture to the great state of Minnesota. I bleed purple and gold and urge every Minnesota Vikings fan in the country to keep the Vikings in MINNESOTA. I cannot imagine the Land of 10,000 Lakes without them. Join me when I say "SKOL VIKINGS!!!"
