This is not ninjutsu only a naruto fan's, there's no weapon control or opponent inmovilization, just only strikes. I don't know why this guy practice with the sword in her back. Ninjutsu is a martial art of few strikes, awesome opponent contol and many damage. because was made for survive in a battlefield, no to be beatiful in combat. Sorry about my english.
@omizhat: I do agree however, the drama is based on some things that ninja did. The head band was used to be flashy saying, " Hey I'm a ninja don't fuck with me." however, the ninja rarely used it. I did hear that the head band possibly came from theater stage hands and the clothes that stage hands wore too were stereotyped for quite sometime by people. The ninja would wear the stage hand clothes to pretend to be one to finish their assassination job of a famous politician
@omizhat: war lord, general, etc. If the ninja felt like they were in the way or doing something they didn't like, they'd off them and try to leave an impression on the people at the same time.

Compliance is ok when you practice new techniques but you should put up more resistance to each other.
If it works too smooth in the dojo, it will probably turn out to be an unpleasant surprise in the street.
