I havent seen an MA scrap do that good in PvP in....well never have and those MMs you fought, did you kill them through Bodyguard? or did they exit? Either way nice vid was great :o
It's nice to see someone taking a set that is suboptimal into PvP. I do it all the time myself. I don't even have Aid Self. You'd be shocked at the number of kills I get (though I die quite a bit too, that's inevitable when you voluntarily tie one hand behind your back lol). BS/Regen is nothing to brag about, it's the min-maxed best case scenario for Scrappers in PvP. But getting in there and winning with MA/SR? Now that's something.
MA's fucking kick animations piss me off, wouldn't be ass shitty as set if they didn't make every attack take 5 seconds to animate, i had a 44 MA/SR and i deleted it because watching the kicks pissed me off lol
They're honestly not as bad as you think if you time them, the worst of course being Eagle's Claw. But when you factor in the stun + knockback of EC & and Crane Kick, it's not a bad trade off. Plus it's always lol to beat people with an MA.
lol but it still pissed me off like it does 12 flips and drinks a latte before the damage actually ticks then it spins 8 more times before finishing the attack, so much it doesn't need in there... lol powersets designed to be cosmetic.
I've played all of the other Scrapper primaries. In comparison, most, if not all of them have a power or powers that have a pretty bad activation time. MA gets the brunt of the complaints, but the worst power is Crippling Axe Kick, which most people skip.

Yes, but the animation time isn't worth it, IMO. I'd tested CAK for awhile, and it didn't prevent an escape as much as the stun from EC would.
