i useto refil my cartage then i took arrow in knee.

Following tips helped me

Take 0.5ml back into sringe when the cartridge overflows

Dont tape the whole part as it requires air ventilation (take off the sticker and u will see zig zag carved leading to some place for air ventilation )

For best quality use good quality of ink.......

And the most useful tip dont insert full sringe (it may puncture the sheet underneath so be careful )

Refill kits are hit and miss. The problem is you aren't refilling under a vacuum so the foam inside doesn't properly absorb and suspend the ink. Also, if it's run empty it won't prime and won't work. I just buy remanufactured ink and toner at the refillmyink website because it's cheap and 100% guaranteed. Then I donate the empty to my kid's school. Schools and churches do fund raisers by collecting them.

@nascarm2008 Because is a tri-colour cartridge you fill 1ml of each colour and than you draw about 0.5ml. You will be left with 2.5ml of ink.

It woRKs in my country there are shops which refill ur ink at about 1$ for tri color and 0.5$ for black i have seen people doing it and got mine refilled in the same way.. it is working

ese es el liquido mas caro del mundo aquí en Colombia vale 90,000 ese tarrito #60 de 4 ml que sirve para 50 hojas,la impresora Hp f4280 es mejor guardarla en el armario de reliquia, ya que recargarla también sale caro.

Put 1ml of ink in the tank then suck .5ml later, means you only have .5 ml of ink per color. That's just great.

@BujoySeth That's not really correct see if you refill all three colors then suck out .5ml then you're not really taking out that much but you're taking out 0.167 of the 1ml ink that you put in there. AHA!! I-am-so-smart! S-M-R-T! I mean S-M-A-R-T!
