  • this is the easier way ever for a fast double bass

  • Don't you think having a foot cam is kind of essential for a video like this?

  • @metalscorpion1031 I might have thought about that this way... But in my opinion it also may be a good reason for someone to start their own research and find the way to do it:)

  • Awesome but it's FOOT not FOOD xD thanks, man!

  • uh heel toe?

  • @Bostonbird733 No, it's not it:)

  • Can you do a video on how to so this :D

  • ladnie ci te nozki popierdalaja :)

  • how come it seems like your getting 2 hits with one leg motion?

  • @fatalkill101 As the leg goes back up after every downstroke I add another one with the ankle only.

  • thats some sick stuff but what the hell is up with your hair? :0

  • @jonathanbenaroche Haha! I just woke up... Give me a break man :D:D

  • @Lucass10 Yeah I think it has potential. It made my one foot blasts slot easier and also made it easier to switch from 8ths to 16ths and so on. Although i get frustrated when i try to integrate it in normal playing because i csnt get the sweetspot on the fly. Keep us updated on your progress.

  • @jjones180 Surely I will! :)

  • From what I can tell, what I'm doing has very similar motions from looking at your knees. I always play triggered but when I turn off the triggers it has a real weird flutter sound from the strokes not being even. I'm sure it's possible with practice. I really think with enough practice this technique could do amazing things for my speed. The motion itself is nearly effortless. The problem for me is the timing and making the strokes strong enough for the triggers to fire.

  • @jjones180 Know what you mean. It is why I'm practicing everyday for an hour or so. Fucking great technique! Thanx to it all other techniques seem to work better now:)

  • I can get it going but I haven't been able to play on top of it. Just a mental thing with 1 being on a right downstroke and 4 being on a left upstroke. Sorry for the two comments, im using a phone to type this. Is that kind of what your doing? I haven't been able to find anybody doing this unless I'm misunderstanding another technique.

  • @jjones180 You're pretty much right. I've been searching for it too and I found T Waterson workin' out the same way:)

  • I think that's kind of what I've been working on. It's kind of a up/down stroke thing. Then I try to alternate the strokes between the left and right. When I get it going it feels like I'm doing flams

  • basically the "double" stroke tech. these dudes are using now....more like an abbreviated heel toe type thing

  • Dlaczego wszystko nagrywasz po angielsku?

  • search constant release, look up Andrew Baird from Fallujah to really see it at work, also John Longstreth of Origin

  • @necronOWNS I did check. Nothing in common:)

  • want to buy: foot-cam + explanation of technique

  • @SinisterSkip Take your time figuring out HOW:P

  • yeh be good if could see what you were doin ;p

  • Szkoda, że całych nóżek nie widać man...

  • my god.. are you swiveling, or doing a pump? can you do a foot cam vid?

  • I realize this video is just to give us an idea... but i dont think it even does that. You need to explain the technique a little or just show us even if you're playing isn't flawless it'll give us a much better "idea" of what you're working on. I honestly don't see any point to this video...

  • you practiced it for 7 days and you can play 270? wtf

  • @allmetaliswelcome lol I was thinking the same thing... I've been practicing techniques for years that I'm just now getting up around the 200bpm mark

  • @FlamSanagan i've been practicing for a year and i can play 150 with my balls falling off... this can't be a brand new technique

  • @allmetaliswelcome Dunno, esp if I can't find any name for it...

  • @allmetaliswelcome Actually... 280:)

  • @Lucass10 i don't think this technique is so very new then, i mean dude being able to play 280 with a new technique in a week is fucking impossible

  • @Lucass10 Cool thanks for responding. Not trying to be too critical as you obviously know you are an amazing talent

  • @StickyInADarkBlueCut We're cool :)

  • maybe you show us the technique?

  • @11Ragetti11 I'll show you how it works for sure. But not at this stage on a crappy bass drum pad;/

  • @Lucass10 okay well than thanks i guess :D

  • Pretty useless without a feet cam :(

  • Cool.. but a video on bass.. without a feet cam... useless i find..

  • I am no idea what is going on O_o

  • @BalleBaest Soon you'll have:) Promise!

  • quad pedal?

  • @htaedmetal Nope, Axis Longboards - THE BEST PEDALS EVER! :D

  • how do you do it?

  • 2:10, you only does half the speed as it sounds like? if you know what I mean

  • @BandaDK I know what you mean. But here, every single leg motion is 2 strokes,

  • @Lucass10 Can you do a video showing us?

  • Dude that's just going insane! Hope you master it! Cheers!

  • @slmc777 Soon! Thanx:)

  • and the foot cam?? cant see anything..

  • Bruutal! ;)

  • @CannibalZombieKiller It'll be really brutal once I master it at 300bpm:)

  • @Lucass10 Why are you not filming your feet?? Thats like the most important part. Insane rolls though

  • @StickyInADarkBlueCut I'd rather show it on a real bassdrum when I improve it to a flawless level... This is just to give you an idea.

  • looks like heel toe to me. :-/

  • @M3G4G0TH Naaaah... Wrong:)

  • Holy crap.

  • no foot cam or explanation on the movement.. :S sounds good though, but id like to see whats going on there.
