  • I like this performance...Elvis is all sweaty and unshaven and earthy with his acoustic guitar.... but his message is clear!

  • Found In A Song

The words I hear on my piano

speak to me soft and strong

they talk about peace and laughter

They talk about dreams come and gone

and about love found in a song

    M.S. Morrison

  • cool song!!!

  • cool song!!

  • I loved his first albam when it was out. Then I saw him in a small hall decades ago. I'm not crazy about him but I never stopped liking him and his music for all these years. This is the special song for me among his good songs. And this version brought me tears. .

  • in my opinion, a perfect circle's version is the best of all ...

  • this man is a GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great !!!!!

  • I saw him warm up for Dylan in '07, wasn't expecting much and was blown away by this song. Have since heard him do this song with his band and much prefer the solo version for the emphasis it places on the simplicity of the lyrics. Elvis should play this song once in every country in the world, and end every show with it. Powerful.

  • I seen Elvis last year on tour with Bob Dylan

  • The original version is a million times better.

  • saw him play it live twice- once solo like this and once with his band. Both times were amazing. Just like this video.

  • the chorus needs a harmany

  • Epic. A million times better than the A Perfect Circle version.

  • I think APC might agree with you. I bought Emotive almost immediately after it was released, and had the impression that it was a somewhat rushed album--not because APC was after a fast buck, but because they wanted to make a stand against the Iraq war during the short window when the war drums were beating hardest--when it would mean the most. I respect them greatly for releasing the album when they did--when being anti-war took balls--even if the covers are mostly inferior to the originals.

  • I thoroughly agree with you.

Good of you to point it out.

There is one song though on Emotive which i enjoyed more than the original.

Zeppelin's When the Levee Breaks was done justice , i believe

  • No, no, Mr. Costello...thank you.

  • This is so appropriate for right now.

  • Amazing

    Superb

    Immaculate

    Divine?

    or speechless...

  • WoW!

  • Holy Lordy Jesus. Really good.

  • Probably the best version I've heard so far. The version they did on A Colbert Christmas was pretty good.

  • Powerful song!:(

    Thank you for posting!!

  • Where are the strong who are the trusted...

  • Didn't think this song could get any better. Guess I wrong!

  • Great I love it. Solo + unplugged... Great sound quality . Thanx Mate!

  • I love this. Thanks for posting!
