  • The fill valve (the one on the left with the float) that they put in those are a cheap knockoff of a Fluidmaster valve. Mine started sticking six months after I bought it. I found that a real Fluidmaster fits perfectly and fills faster (although a bit noisier). And the real thing doesn't stick. I still haven't figured out how I'm gonna replace the flush valve (the dual-flush component in the middle). I've had this for about 3 years and it's been great.

  • I just bought one of these Costo toilets for $85 dollars. It flushes very fast with little water. It's much quieter and more efficient then the old conventional toilet it replaced. I don't mind the plastic buttons, they'll never rust or need lubricated. As for longevity and replacement parts, that remains to be seen, but for price and quality, I think this toilet's was a good deal.

  • Same Problem, have had it for 8 months and have to jiggle the button everytime I flush, fine for me but when we have company it is embarassing. the valve sticks open so the resevoir don't fill, the next person to use the washroom can't flush the toilet. I threw out the documentation after 6 months thought it would be fine if I made it this far!

  • we have had this for 6 months and is running non stop, got a replacement gasket at home depot and wont fit, what a waste of money!

  • Thought my old toilet was bad -- what I wouldn't give to have it back! This one either runs constantly or won't run and fill up at all. I spend all my time jiggling mysterious, plastic toilet tank parts hoping to get the water to fill up in the tank. It has not saved any water that is for sure. It has wasted gallons and gallons of water by just running and not filling properly. It has also wasted so much of my time as I stare into the tank wondering, "Are you filling up now?" Grrrrrrr.

  • The toilet does not seem to have Styrofoam inside to prevent "sweating" of the tank in the winter

  • i bought mine and it looks like the buttons are a different color. is that ok

  • DO NOT BUY ! They run constantly. I bought 3 from Costco and plan to take them all back. The manufacturer will send replacement kits which work for about a month and then it starts running again. Worst ever!

  • @KLKM1000 i know! its really pissing me off! >:(

  • @KLKM1000

Out of the box the plastic rods under the flush buttons may be set too long and they're pressing against the flush valves, causing the toilet drain and run continuously. There must be some clearance between the press rods and flush valve. Try cutting a quarter inch off the plastic rods so the flush valve can seat itself and close.

  • dont buy this s*** bought one two months ago and now it keeps running

  • This toilet uses a knock-off fill valve, made to look like a Fluidmaster, that fails after one year. I recommend replacing it with a real Fluidmaster 400A.

  • Just bought one at Costco (South San Francisco, CA) for $79. There were 4 more available. Will install it myself. I am sure it should work fine. Plastic parts don't rust. Expect it to work at least 5 years. If something breaks and no replacement parts to find will buy another one. The price is great.

  • I have one of these toilets for about 2 years. The float sticks if you push too hard on the button. Well the result was our basement flooded. We purchased ours from Costco so I'll have to take it back.

  • I've got one of these toilets; it's worked fine for the past 3 years - recently, the flush mechanism on the inside of the tank started sticking; age old toilet flushing problem; you have to "jiggle" the handle - or buttons in this case - which is how I found this video. Fortunately, I saved everything that came with this toilet and will call the 800 number to find out where I can get a replacement. Love the toilet though. Side note though - my toilet came with the soft close seat.

  • Wateridge brand is a product of Global industries who make the Danze plumbing fixture line as well as the Home Depot Pegases line very high quality products.

Just a thought friend but have you priced dual flush toilets prior to buying this one for 89$ they run closer to 300$ for something of similar quality. and unless your pushing the plunger with a claw hammer or cleaning it with muriatic acid it should give you a solid 20 years of service.

GPF is .9 and 1.6 enjoy

  • yo, i bought this toilet and its awesome. I want another but Costco ran out. knwo where i can get one please post a msg.

  • how many gpf ?
