I've been on pro and anti-global warming videos here on Youtube and I've been comparing the number of spam markings (and thumbs down) and what they're associated with.

I think that while Gore may be raising some good questions, he is also doing so irresponsibly and unethically by creating hysteria and raking in loads of cash from his appearences and speaking engagements. As for global warming, look at the earths history in deep sea cores, millions of years at a glance, accurate to a tenth of a degree, and see the truth about abrupt climate change, especially at the rate at which the temp changes. the average change is two degrees C per century, both up and down, so the 1.5 degrees that the earth has warmed over the last hundred years or so is nothing new and nothing to worry about. Stop living in fear about the world ending, its how they exert control over you.

The earth is much cooler now than in 1998. The cooling is noticeable. According to NASA satellite temperature sensors and the Met Office Hadley Centre in the UK there has been no year since 1998 that has been as warm or warmer than 1998. Also those same NASA satellite sensors show quick cooling in the earth since January 2007.
All this time though since 1998 co2 levels have been rising.

Do some research on past climate change, such as the warming that happened 500 years or so ago, when the Vikings were farming on Greenland, which isn't possible today. Why would oil companies be against a Carbon Cap system?
They will be able to change from selling oil, a real product, to "carbon credits", a product that is merely paper rights to emit X amount of carbon per year.
Their margins will increase and they will actually be paid to shut down oil rigs thus making oil more expensive and profitable than it is now.

I've been on pro and anti-global warming videos here on Youtube and I've been comparing the number of spam markings (and thumbs down) and what they're associated with.
Amazingly, but really, should we find this surprising, if you are a dissenting "postee" on a pro-global warming video, you are marked as spam more frequently than if you were a "dissenter" on an anti-global warming videos.
I expect that this will be marked as spam. Once I get a big enough "n" I can do some nice statistics.

None of this stuff answers the logic question I've been asking: can an irreplicable observation truly indicate causation? What about the climate experts who disagree with man-made global warming? I hear the same excuse from you folks all the time - we're somehow funded by oil companies. I wish I were, then I could buy that new Madone 6.9, some Zipp 808s and a disc for my time trials...
I don't condone messing this one up but I condemn overreaching conclusions.
