We want to get a video of him bow-cooing at our parrotlet Willow then skulking away when he’s denied. It’s the funniest thing… We leave him free range as mush as we can and it allows us to observe him in a relaxed state.
Thank you for your comments on Milo. He’s a great bird and we have been split on whether we should pair him up or leave him solo. He sits for hours on the play net watching the bird feeder longing for the outdoors.
The music can be found on live365.com. (station: meditation music) We love it and there are many more stations similar to that. It plays all day and night here for us and the animals. It's the ambient theme music of our lives. ;)
This is Noah's mom again, on a different account. Just read through the other comments and it's so awesome to see other people (and doves!) enjoying this vid as much as we are. Noah's mate, Olive, died six months ago and so I worry about her being lonely, too, like lesiebelle's Olivia. How funny their names are so similar, too! Anyway, the snow, the music and Milo all make this one of my favorite videos! Thanks so much for posting it. :)
So my dove Noah (who is actually a female) is in love with Milo. Ever since I found this vid and played it for her, she gets mad if I don't play it to her at least once a day. Your views are going to skyrocket. LOL. Anyhow, she wanted to know if they could be coo pals or something. She would send him a vid, if he would send her another one. I hope he'll consent! She's absolutely lovestruck...
I just got my first diamond dove today, and after all the stress of moving in, she's already cooing, preening, stretching and to all appearances looking pretty well-adjusted--listening to this of course. I have male and female fully tamed ringnecks, but they just don't sing the same song!
Haha my bird has started recognizing the background music and starts cooing before your bird does and seems to have a conversation with it :P awesome upload
Beautiful Milo! I enjoyed hearing my Oliver (female) respond to his cooing. I try to coo to her. I worry about her being lonely since her companion, Olivia died.
wow milo's song is beautiful an haunting at the same time. an its so picturesque to seem a bir looking at the window with the snow falling. what a great catch with your camera!
Very enjoyable video; thanks for posting! I just got a pair of Diamond Doves today, and your video made it possible for me to hear what they'll sound like. Nice background music, too. Who is the artist?
My female recognizes the music now and often starts cooing before Milo does. Stinkin' cute!

Amazing Video, it got my male's to start cooing too! Hehe.
How did you train him to fly to your finger like that? Is he the only one you have?

Millet training. Once he realizes there is no treat he flies off again. He doesn't sit still too long. He's always looking for a mate... :)
