The current longest confirmed sniper kill is 2475m by Craig Harrison. (A British sniper) He broke the previous record set by Canadian Corporal Rob Furlong by 45m.
While all of you simpletons debate the longest sniper kill, I am wondering if I'm the only who watched this video and thinks the chick firing the weapon is ridiculously hot.

Prior to that a US Marine held that "record" for around 40 years. One sniper doesn't make the entire Canadan Forces great. It just means one Canadian deserves all the respect in the world for demonstrating such skill.

The USMC has been training and deploying snipers for over 60 years, how many war stories do you hear? The USMC's most famous sniper only did a handful of interviews from the time of the Vietnam war and his death. You have a Hollywood version of what you think snipers are like. Learn about the men who do the job before you come up with assumptions.
Rob Furlong is one man in the CF. He is not representative of how well trained your soldiers are. He is one man with a gift that few others in this world have. There is a valid reason why we haven't read countless stories of Canadian snipers making 2km kills. Because Furlong was one of the only people you ever had who could do it. Wake up. He's one of your best but let's not make up fairy tales about how you have an entire military full of people with that kind of skill.

Nice ass. Ohadn teh gun too. That was used to set the longest recorded sniper kill, at 2430 meters. Over 1 1/2miles. That's fucking far.
