My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325 weekends. 328i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the E46 is about 13.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $17 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

It's pretty much a known fact that supercharged cars are not as potent as turbocharged ones when it comes to display of raw power, especially top end. The dyno load is also a factor. An HPF m3 at stage 2 or 2.75 can put down over 800rwhp... Not even to speak of stage III or IV. Supra's are nice and I like them, but these are apples and oranges in this case.

Both cars are pretty much well built if you ask me, think about it..if you had that much money to build a less costy vehicle like the supra unlike the M3, i'm pretty sure oil cooling or a good engine build is far from possible. You can generalize about other street racing cars..but on MBoard? doubt it.
supra is faster but heres the thing, u should be able to run our car all day without having to worry about the engine getting too hot because of poor modding.

The saudi guy with the crazy R32 gtr should take his car to that place and have some fun. Whoever builds supras for these guys doesn't know what he is doing...the japanese ones don't have issues like that. Certainly no loose intercooler pipes and dodgy overheating. The 2jz is one of the best straight 6's ever made. Handles tons of power on stock internals when tuned properly

naa that supra wont break down, actually better chgance of the bmw breaking down probably, supras are tanks, his engine was getting hot because maybe he had the boost up pratty high or didnt have an intercooler? who knows but yeah there reliable

@Personaboutspeed stock vs stock it will be a drivers race. both are able to hit mid-low 13s stock. my stock supra hit a 13.4 best time at 106 mph....i doubt a bone stock e46 m3 will pull on it.....but if you got a m3 and wanna try it let me knoe

A modded car is what the owner of the car / the owner's financial resources wants it to be, if you want to compare brands/models, use stock cars.
the video above is a comparision of a car built in a shed, vs a car built in another shed by people I feel safe to say are not related to either BMW, BMW's M division, Toyota or TRD in ANY way.

Both cars are pretty much well built if you ask me, think about it..if you had that much money to build a less costy vehicle like the supra unlike the M3, i'm pretty sure oil cooling or a good engine build is far from possible. You can generalize about other street racing cars..but on MBoard? doubt it.

supra is faster but heres the thing, u should be able to run our car all day without having to worry about the engine getting too hot because of poor modding.
