i understand your sentiments, however, i believe that then we are playing into their hands - we should be expressing solidarity with immigrants, whether they be illegal or not. and remember, alot of mexican immigrants are returning to mexico bc of the bad economy.

I don't remember the exact numbers but I was watching the news earlier. And they were reporting the number of American people who lost jobs this year in this country due to layoffs. And it was in the millions. Most of the layoffs are due to outsorcing nafta and plans for the North american union. Does Obama care? Not at all. He knows damn well what is going on with the North American Union. Is Obama going to tell all those people out of work, Yes we can get you jobs?

In many ways children understand economics better than politicians do, I remember when I was young, having explained to me that corporations ship factories and jobs overseas to cut costs, and using my child like logic I would ask "If everyone loses their jobs in those factories, how are they suppose to make money so they can buy things from each others factories?" I guess at the time I didn't know that the government or the financial sector could just borrow the money back again...
