  • I loved the last line! Great video!

  • So..umm...the majority vast in prison are black and brown. The majority of these inmates are imprisoned due to minor drug possession.

    Let's remember: drug possession.

That is occurring despite the majority of drug users being white, and for, marijuana (the major crop), consumer at the highest per capita rate for whites than any minority. Regardless of those realities, the majority in US prisons aren't white, but black.

I ask, how does these mechanisms help narrow things down? Do tell us.

  • am BLACK and i LOVE THIS..............my favorite video of this minute

  • OMG Bob! You are my HERO!

  • How dare you arrest me? What Cheek! What audacity!!! what omitigated Gual!!!

  • XrisSmiles Ok absent of racial profiling, lets see how that works. APB-please be on a lookout of a person in his 30's who has committed a murder. Not narrow enough is it? But Police wouldnt say lookout for Arab man Or Asian, oh wait we can say Asian White, just not black? After 9/11 who do you mostly check in airports? Asians, Hispanics, White, Black? Arabs isnt it? Racial profiling helps to narrow things down, that what it all suppose to be about.

  • Righty-Oh Bob!- Just be friendly with Mr. Policeman and all will be well.

Just answer the cop and don't get wise, situation over.

Bob wouldn't side with O.J. just because he's black, would he?

Bob wouldn't side with Jesse just because he's black, would he?

How about Rev. "Al" Sharpton? I doubt it, seriously...

How about Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau? I really doubt it...

  • Excuse my ignorence, but what are the facts about this case. I've heard some information, but I haven't payed it much attention.

  • Just google "Prof. Gates" . You'll get the liberal left agenda report on it.

  • Thanks.

  • I also was struck by the elitism of Prof Gates, not his racism, at first. His first reaction was "How dare you? Do you know who I am?!" No one is above the law and no one should feel oppressed by police officers, who are our servants and public protectors. Thank you, Mr. Parks.

  • Mr. Parks I agree with you. I may not be black but I had a instance when the police came to my home in the middle of the night. Long story short we had a bad storm water got in our phone line and dialed 911 no joke. When the police showed up they asked a list of question to determine if me my wife and children were safe. I am sure that is what they were trying to determine that Mr. Gates was not being held against his will.

  • Gates was on CSPAN in March discussing a book about Abraham Lincoln. During the interview, he states he did research on his own genealogy and "to my astonishment and horror" discovered I was "50% white". Gates was so disturbed by this (he claims)he sent his DNA off to be tested. He subsequently found out (again according to Gates) that he is "57% white" and then stated again, "to my horror, I was becoming more white by the minute".

    Sounds like racism to me...

  • " The horror..."

  • Right on Bob. As a fellow black conservative I've taking a lot of crap from my friends for not supporting the professor, but I don't care. Keep up the good work.

  • I'm trying to imagine the mindset of a homeowner who is upset -- not embarrassed, not appreciative, but upset -- because the police responded quickly to a reported burglary in progress at their home.

Ayers-Wright wingers are hair-triggered racialists, and a bad joke against America. And that's when they're NOT in positions of authority.

Else, they are toxic to our way of life.

  • The liberals are still SEGREGATIONISTS and the liberal media is deliberately fanning racial tensions trying to ignite something. They want more power. It's all the elites ever want.

    The government is liberal.

  • It's a facsist tactic, tried and true...

  • America and the world are too liberal and it isn't working. It's time for CHANGE.

  • Good job on The O'Reilly Factor Friday!

  • Of course, if it was a real break-in the cop would be called racist because he didn't protect a black man's house. Bitterness lives.

  • 2:47 I don't make money looking for racism so I don't see it when it's not there

Exactly!!! and add to that the fact that most academics are arrogant assholes!

  • I find it rather ironic that in situations like these, the party making an accusation of racism is in fact guilty of the very same racism said party is accusing the other party of.

With Gates, this is true tenfold, making him both a racist and a hypocrite.

Case in point, had the questioning officer been black, do you think Gates still would have went off and accused him of racism? I think not. They probably would've had a good laugh about it afterwards. What a fucking feckless pissant.

  • "do you think Gates still would have went off and accused him of racism?"

Actually, yes I do. He would have been an "Uncle Tom" or a "House ni**er" and therefore "doing the white mans" work and harrassing "his own" people for the white man. This is the sort of logic people like Gates use.

  • In response to your question of whether Prof. Gates would have acted the same way if the officer were Black, I would say yes. Why? Because it's clear that Prof. Gates relied on his celebrity status, and the fact that he's a Harvard Professsor. He probably would have gone off on the Black officer worse, because uppity Blacks seems to treat other Blacks who they feel are not cut from the same mold as slaves! Gates is definitely elitist!

  • "I am a friend of the President, how dare you arrest me!!"

  • It smacks of reverse racism to me.

  • Great argument on Fox last night.

    5 stars!

  • Great closing comment!

    5 stars!

  • Bob, you must run for office again. Please keep trying!

  • I posted it on my site this morning.

    Thanks.

  • Bob, I caught a bit of you on Fox. Post the whole interview. You are common sense, my friend.

  • I actually agree with Bob on this one. The Professor should have cooperated.

  • Nice work Bob! Especially loved your final statement...

    TMOTS

  • Right on Bob, Keep up the Fire ! doughboy

  • islamsuxs:

Good to see you here again!

  • Right on, You too ! Peace dough

  • You got that right!

    The race card is HISTORY.

  • Trick question.

    Both.

  • Obviously, the rich and famous think they are above the rules. It gets annoying, though, if they play the race card, as if to say they are really underpriveledged when they aren't.

  • It's LIBERALS that think they are above the rules.

  • Okay in no way am I taking the PROFESSORS side, but we should look at all the proof first. All the evidence hasnt really came out yet. We need to be very nutrual because this is a sensitive issue. We should never rush to judge until all evidence is present.

One again I am not on the side of the PROFESSOR.

  • Look at the police report, which includes the accounts of several witnesses. Gates was following the officer outside his home while exuding behavior constituting disorderly conduct in the presence of about seven witnesses. Furthermore, it is stated in the report that the officer told Gates to calm down at least twice before he was arrested for disorderly conduct in a public space.

  • Good point. If those are actual facts then this guy should shut up before charges get pressed.

If they arent then he should sue.

  • Great video, he is dead on

  • I think the Professor may have had a Cynthia McKinney moment.. He was " a "victim" of "inappropriate touching and stopping".

  • Do you know who I am?

    I'm better than you.

I can have this, you cannot.

Those rules don't apply to me.

Do as I say, not as I do.

This is the belief system of Elitists. Notice how different they are from the rest of us. And why do we all tolerate this? I'll never know.

  • I saw you on O'rieley and you were spot on. I am from a law enforcement family and your observations are correct from what I know.

  • Very good video. What a shame that most black people uses racist accusation to get away with breaking the law.

  • Comment removed

  • Even if that were true, it still wouldn't change the fact that most black people like to cry racist to justify wrong on their part. If it make any difference, I'm an African American myself, but one doesn't have to be African American to tell the truth about most liberal black people, dang it. lol

  • ghey

  • it's a shame you are too. wow... that's really immature. but i don't care right now.

  • 5 Stars. Enjoyed the Fox interview tonight as well. Good analysis.

  • Great and informative again, Mr. Parks.

  • I am not thrilled about police or elites, but I bet the professor would have been happy if the police would have arrested somebody who may have really been trying to break into his house.

He probably should have kept his cool in this situation. Then think how people are really getting abused and even killed by cops nowadays, it seems to me like Prof. Gates came across one of the more competent officers.

Of course, everytime a big bill comes up in congress we have a front page racism story.

  • I thought the big story was supposed to be the Financial Crisis, TARP 2, Health Care, or Cap and Trade?

I am personally pissed off that each time we get a debate going about REAL, REAL issues, another distracting cycle of news coverage begins on something totally unrelated.

The media really sucks . I am including Fox in this criticism too. They actually take the bait that is laid out by the left media. They focus on debunking racism, instead of debunking these bills that will hurt all of us.

  • they are gonna have to come up with a new term for this one, you have driving while black, walking while black, now you have going into your home while black..lol

  • Democrats have turned America into a tyrannical hell hole by using segregation to divide Americans by race and sex and religion. They're evil fucking bastards.

  • There is a difference between advocacy and racism. Racism is about hate and superiority. Advocacy is about pride and self-interest. Non-white racism is always viewed as advocacy and white advocacy is always viewed as racism. We white people must defend and promote our civilization, culture and heritage. Anything less is a betrayal of the legacy our ancestors built and left to us. If others have a problem with that, THEY have the problem.

  • Bob, I always enjoy your vids, but you have to admit policing can be a bit 1 sided. You're right about racial profiling, however it's rarely applied to whites. Ex, teen white males doing school shootings didn't make them a target by police. Likewise, the stats show that the vast majority of serial killers are white males, but there is no "profiling" of white males age 27 - 45. Same w/corporate corruption. I appreciate your analysis but let's not pretend there isn't an imbalance in policing.

  • The former slave owning,KKK creating Nazi Demo-KKK-rats are SEGRAGATIONISTS and they divide people by race in order to Divide and Conquer America.

Enough tyranny. There's too much. We do not need an eeven bigger global one.

Screw hippies. Al Gore is an evil shithead.

  • I always enjoy your videos :)

  • Consistently excellent commentary. Thanks.

  • Obama is an idiot. Joe Biden and everyone in Hollywood are mentally retarded.

The media, politicians, celebrities and the so-called justice system are America's biggest shame after Hollywood.

    God flush America!

  • The justice system is no longer about justice and is now about stealing money from people wherever they can. They are a gang of criminals and thieves, straight up.

You should cooperate with them or they may just stick you in one of their death camps.

America is totally FUCKED UP now.

We need to take our freedom back from these criminal thugs.

Hollywood fuckers do nothing but bitch. Why don't they get the fuck out of here. They can afford it.

  • Cops taser everybody all willy nilly. That's way worse than waterboarding the three terrorists at Gitmo who planned 9/11.

  • Cops and Politicians and the legal system all have way way too much power and they all abuse it. Obama is an idiot of epic proportions. Hollywood has way too much money and influence and we should take all of their money for the common good and leave poor people the hell alone. People who think they are better than everybody else because they are educated or because they have a degree or are famous are NAZIS straight up. The Nazis thought they were better than everybody else too. Stupid fuckers.

  • What if it was the other way around and the white guy say "Hey I am a white guy you can't arrest me " To the Black Officer would this be a story also yes but the White guy would be in jail and the Officer would be a hero come on if anyone says Obama helped any race at all is stupid he helped make it bigger.

  • Well said sir!

  • I've posted the report on my site: "pdf of the Day"

  • For the official record of the incident, as reported by the arresting officer, Google: Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Police Report

Granted it is only one side of the incident, but it does break down the sequence of events. =^[.]^=

  • Thank You! This guy was being a pompous ass. Anyone else acting the same way towards the police would also be arrested. The only exception being, that this professor had the charges dropped. The rest of us would be going to court.

  • Bob, you were right on the money! As a black man myself, it amazes that everytime a racial "incident" occurs, people automatically expect ALL blacks to toe the "woe is me, racism is alive and well" line. Thanks for the great insight.

  • Thank You, people do not understand that we are all over the race card. With that being said now that the Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro birth issue is finally coming to the forefront. People that can't accept this issue jumps to the race card. He was voted in by persons from all ethnic backgrounds. When the issue is doing what is constitutionally right for our country!

    ***** 5 STARS *****

  • An investigating officer would first ask for ID. If the Prof had simply showed him ID, presumably with his address on it, it would have ended the situation with a "Sorry to bother you, have a nice day." Instead, this guy, whose bread and butter are made playing poker with the Race Card, acted like the race-reactionary he is, reinforcing a racial stereotype.

Police are there to protect EVERYONE from crime. The Prof ought to consider that, one day, he might need their help. ='[.]'=
