i must say out of all the cars that i have had chevy has outlasted them all, i had a pontiac a ford and a cadillac now i drive a 2002 chevy malibu with almost 130k on it ive had minimal problems on it so far with the intake manifold gasket leaking they say its a common problem on 3.1 V6 models but it has been a good car, i probably will drive it until the wheels fall off

Actually, Corvair was an advanced design. The Chevette and Cavalier were total pieces of shit, too.

Actually the cavalier was an advanced design but they kept it for almost 20 years! I would not by any means call it a pos. The Chevette was dogged reliable if nothing else so was the pinto although it was ruined by the early models which just need a small fix to stop them from exploding.

A piece of rubber or plastic between the fuel tank and the rear axle. Ford redesingned it in 1976.
