that is a very good hack, if you play online and you are in the first place with mega shroom or star, you won't lose your item and nobody will find out that you are hacking. All they will think is that you luckily used at the right moment, thanks MDMWII :)

Why does everybody call this broken? It helps the game as it SHOULD be, giving you a chance to use SKILL to your advantage, rather than it being based 100% of pure luck. It's so annoying when you plan to do a strategy and you get screwed up by random lightning coming from a guy who can't drive for his life.

being able to predict lightning strikes is actuallly a prettty damn useful ability, especially when you intentionally hold a star or another item that allows you to dodge into a high spot. Theres also the huge impact it has on clanwars where the shock is the most powerful item

Oh, a further idea for anti-cheat... Animate both your character and the player who fired the dodgy item so you can identify EXACTLY who the hacker is :P That kind of thing would be great for exposing subtle cheaters.

Heheh, with a code like this, or a manipulated version, it'd be pretty easy to see if anyone were to pull a hacked item at any time. A reverse version of this code could trigger an animation if an item is fired that was NOT actually picked anywhere :P

@Alex50702 It doesn't, it only warns you when someone is holding lightning. So it gives you some warning, to start your star or whatever.
