Does it stink? Well, yes...but, I recommend putting a box of baking soda in the box. It helps. Plus, you should scoop out stuff every time your dog goes in the box. I get my little baggies from the Dollar Tree. They are scented, so your garbage can doesn't stink so bad.
Yea, I know its bad for the dogs, they were not my dogs.They would come into my yard, and goe through the litter box befor I could stop them. The dogs would also attack my yung children, so I had no mercy for them.
I stayed in the room with him with the door shut all Saturday. When he scratched on the door to go out, I put him in the litter box and gave him a treat. Every time he wanted a treat, I'd tell him to get in the box. Pretty soon, he was running around wildly because he wanted to go out. I quickly held a treat above the box and he climbed into it. I gave him a treat and praised him like crazy. I phased out the treats when he started using it on his own. :)
mine eat's the cat sh@@#t. can't stop the dam dog. this is the only small dog i had that did this

Dogs will eat cat poop, thats how I use to keep my litter box clean, just sit it out back and the dogs would eat it clean!
