As we all were, Germany was also liberated from the nazis and now the germans are some of the most sensible people you can find. The Israelis were also freed from the nazis. But they are NOT the most sensible people around, although the younger generation of israelis is starting to object to expansion of settlements and starts to ask questions. With the demise of religion, things might get better. But that will be a slow process and I fear that for now things will remain bad or even get worse...
