I'm actually a professional singer and know many singers far better than her. She sounds like a 12 year old child attempting to sing with a soprano range that she clearly doesn't have. Listen to Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, or Montego Glover if you want to hear GOOD voices. Her voice is crap in comparison to those phenomenal singers.

@Kiirstin A lot of people would disagree and her album sales and ticket sales as well... it is a matter of taste. I think her voice is beautiful.. it has changed over the years.... I am also a singer as well, and some of her more classical opera is very technically hard to sing... The only singer I have found comparable is Jackie Evancho and Susan Boyle. Again, a matter of opinion only......

@Kiirstin I can't stand Broadway voices. They're so cheesy. Granted, technically speaking this is not Sarah Brightman's finest vocal performance, but it goes well with the song. Have you even heard her operatic voice? None of the singers you mentioned, talented as they might be, could ever come close to Sarah Brightman's performance of The Phantom of the Opera in Vienna. They could only ever dream of reaching those high notes at the end.
