Audio development on a Mac is shameful and a complete crutch.

and I haven't even started talking about value for money yet.

Prebuilt PC's suffer in this regard because

1. They're more expensive for the hardware you get

2. The Parts are often of horrible quality, Hitachi Drives, Foxconn Motherboards, they simply won't last.

If you ever take out the motherboard in a prebuilt PC you never should have bought it, that's my philosophy anyway.

Unless you get an amazing deal you will never be able to make a great build from a prebuilt without paying out the ASS for it.

And since a good budget level graphics card (6870, for example) a good CPU cooler and a good case can equal up to about $500 that's a ridiculous cost.

And on top of that you always have to worry about that PSU of theirs not being up to the task or having enough connectors.

It's a fucking stupid decision.
