I first, I had the same reaction I have read here... What? An intermediate trick??? No way. Then... I tried to learn it and faced the truth: this trick is easier that it seems to be, very doable with few hours of practice. Still, you place Haddock and Matrix in the same intermediate category, there is definitely a difficulty gap between them. Anyway, thank you, this is a great tutorial and a great trick.
Will everyone stop referencing yoyoexpert's learning section??? Andre Boulay isn't the end all-be all of yoyoing, and it's really annoying when noobs such as yourself follow the system he created for learning on his website like its the Bible.
@izcheesyyoyo F_ING AYYYYYY...you finally get it. Doing a frigging "Hour Glass" trick does NOT make you a Yo-Yo Master! I get SOOOOOO many comments from people crying about how "This is NOT a intermediate trick"". If that is the case,i became a yoyo master in two months. and if that is the case then this is not a very challanging hobby, is it? I lost my camera bag, but believe me, when I find it I'm gonna make a video about this topic that is pretty pathetic.
@thomascatlett555 From what I have heard, the dv888 is a great yoyo for its price; every review I have read has said that it plays similarly to yoyos in the $100+ range. I was thinking about buying one last week, but I decided to order a stacked Genesis instead (but there's almost a $60 difference between the two yoyos).
@TheYotard For one thing, no one "can't" learn a trick, assuming they have the right equipment to work with, so I don't get what u mean by that. Another issue I have is your use of the terms "novice" and "intermediate." If a person who can't do a 15 second trick that consists of like 20 separate steps is a "novice," then what would you call a person who is having a hard time learning double or nothing, or boingy boing?
@TheYotard No I'm pretty sure this should be an advanced. Think of it as school. You got elementary school for beginners so stuff like basic brain twister, binding, and trapeze. Intermediate is for slightly higher level like matrix and triple or nothings. Advanced would be THIS, like high-school. Saying this is intermediate like going from multiplication tables to Pre-calculus, like going from trapeze to THIS. You completely skipped Junior high and intermediate all together.
he's going off of a three point scale
novice->intermediate->expert
This is like where advanced should be on that scale, between intermediate and expert

well i think that this is a intermediate trick

Who agrees that this is 100% not an intermediate trick. Thumbs up if you agree!

@1ofthemakers
It depends. If you are a person like Jensen or Hiroyuki, this would be considered as beginner.
If you only know gravity pull, this would be considered as Master.
It varies from person to person, to me, I agree with Yotard. No dis-respect, it's just preference.
