I am in full agreement with the Roosevelt quote and respect your stance to not sign the pledge. I also challenge you to cite one instance where someone has been strong-armed into signing. Personally, I don't plan on signing, either. Not because it is a personal oath of fealty to Obama, which it obviously is not, but because I usually don't play into meaningless political theater.

The "pledge" that is scaring you is a simple statement of support for the President's economic policy. It is not a pledge of allegiance to Obama. nor does it impart any moral or legal duty upon the signatory. And it certainly does nothing to negate or conflict with the standard Pledge of Allegiance we all have recited since 1892. Sure, it is a cheesy political gimmick but it is hardly the sinister fascism being decried by some Toobers.

When I enlisted in the military, I swore an oath to the CONSTITUTION!

This country is so much more than its President and I wish these fair weather "patriots" would consider that when swearing/signing this "oath".

I too study history history and am aware of what happened when people swear loyalty to a leader and not the nation as a whole.

I like your vids but sould level is too high and my volume over 20 just makes it worse, try bending the mic to an inch away.

I Like your vids and im almost deaf so what sounds I hear the bad part is magnified.

If you want a good cheap mic get a rockband Xbox360 mic. they are good. Its usb and your computer will just run it. no drivers or nothing.
