were going there in about 2 weeks and are staying on 7 mile beach and were thinking about diving up to Rum Point for a day do you recomend going up there to get away from the crowds?
Great idea. This is about 45 minutes from 7 mile (longer if bad traffic through George Town). I think you will like the contrast between 7 mile beach and Rum Point. Both excellent, but different. Rum Point more laid back and less people. Good place to eat and get drinks on the Rum Point beach.
i was swimming under the pier and cam face to face with 'george the barracuda', scary thing haaha
