i feel very bad for hin but the german national team players back in the days were not paid, they had normal jobs and were just assembled to play for their countries the thing is football became popular in the recent days. footballers make more money now than they ever did .
this is a very sad one. Nigeria may never win any major title in Football until the plights of numerous of her heroes past in the game are seen to. Our attitude as a people is so alarming. I honestly cannot figure out why he was left out of that 94 team. i was surprised when from no where they went to bring emenalo, ekoku and all sorts of strange names. Nigeria we hail thee. Thats why these present generation of players take caution in fighting for the country. is it worth it, to be sincere?
Let this old man sharrrrrap ojare! I couldn't care less for your bitter regrets!! Look at him usiing flimsy comparisons to Branco and Roger Milla!!! The guy is a bitter joke!
@MNAYMEN you are completely stupid. infact, i'll punch in your face if i ever see you. What have you done yourself? Do you even know where a valve is on a soccer ball? You don't just come here to disrespect people
The tribalism eating Nigeria is also connected to this young man's plight. The name 'Nduka' perhaps is connected to this injustice. Perhaps they can't afford to hv an easterner and Ibo man for that matter, break records. See how Nigeria continues to shoot herself in the foot.
How do u mean "they can't afford to hv an easterner" What about Kanu, Okocha et.c. Beside Ugbade is more yoruba than any other he was born and bred in Lagos the mum I think is yoruba. Corruption in nigeria has nothing to do with ethnic background. Uduka Ugbade is not an igbo so don't bring tribal war here
I remember that year Nduka Ugbade,i was bitter too,i was so bitter that that Westerhoff in 1994 blocked you from breaking a record.Nigeria!Nfa!.May God Help My Country!
I wonder why Nigeria is like that most heroes tht achieved reasonable things for this country are forgotten instantly.I remembered while he was in Spain playing for Castellon it's surprising to find him at the bus station on his way from Madrid to Valencia this was the day we becomes friends. While footballers that don't hv his class of qualities lives like superstars. They have always struggle to keep themselves going on i.e.Mutiu Adepoju,Dimeji Lawal etc..
Well its typical of Nigeria. But Nduka Ugbade it may be no reward but you created history and sometimes that is worth more than any money or title. I remember him and that team as a little boy before I left Nigeria. You guys did Nigeria and Africa proud.
I thought about that few years ago how come ugbade was drpped

I hope NFA & Federal Government under Yaràdua will look into his complains;at least for the sake of justice.

The psychological baggage of this betrayal by your nation is enough to make any one bitter. Ugabade take heart and hold your head high.

Listing to a legend speak makes me wonder if we have a right to critize chinedum onuorra (Man City) or the Aston villa Lad (agbonhare)
