All I know is Harry Lorrayne's technique or the technique used in his book on tape is ridiculously effective. I had it and used it and I'm talking memory beyond your wildest imagination and little to no effort. His system is so simple. You don't even feel like ur "trying to remember" things or trying to learn a new technique. He's an arrogant bastard but he did one thing right and thats the memory technique. Before i was halfway thu the book i was able to memorize a 5 year calender.

You should actually check out his book! I've read to page 30 so far and my memory has improved SO MUCH!

The book had tests in it that you took before and after you learned a method. The first memorization test asks you to memorize 15 words in two minutes, close the book, and try writing all those down. I ended up getting 3 right.

After the method, I GOT THEM ALL IN LIKE 1 MINUTE MEMORIZATION!

Well, all memory systems are EQUALLY good, it simply depends on the person. What remains true regardless is that Lorayne is an arrogant, pompous, self-righteous fuckhole and he will never see a dime from me.

funnily enough in the time since making that comment i've investigated a lot of memory-enhancement techniques, particularly mnemonomy, and found them to be quite sound

this indeed works, but he says the same in all his books, so look at that first i would say, but also look at kenneth l higbee's work, your memory....that really covers a lot what still is unclear about the memory
