@Tempestallion No website, sorry. Got to do it the old fashioned way. By the way, if you get to the bookroom, go down the 'hell hole'. I haven't been down there yet. It looks like you guys aren't afraid to get dirty, or squeeze into tight spots, so I think you will be ok. The 'hell hole' is pretty awkward to get into. I've only crawled about half my body length in. You have to do it upside down, or backwards. I haven't been back since before the "clean up" a few months ago.
i went there to scatter my grandfathers ashes i didnt get the chance to camp there or find the cave, my dad also went there and rode his dirt bike there when he was younger
i have been there before i enjoyed it a lotttt, i went there to scatter my grandfathers ashes and also my dad used to ride dirt bikes over there as well. i didnt get a chance to find the cave i just went close to the campgrounds, i want to camp there and find the cave though.
@nickslayer1 The cave entrance is up past the campgrounds, near a rock bridge. Go up the wash, looking to your right. The first "cave" you'll see is NOT the real entrance. Keep going, and if you pay attention, you will find it.
Just went in there this past weekend and due to all the rain this spring the rabbit hole was filled with water and the lake was up 10-15 feet more than normal.
wow.. nice video capture, speilburg. glad to see our rope came in handy. did you make it to the book room? or even farther, did you go down the hell hole? did you follow the devil's spine, or take the shortcut? also, the third main cavern, (or the tourist end game) is not 3/4 of a mile in.. about 200 yards. seems more, i know. find the stalagtite wall? (approx. 18x40ft.) untouched by the way. there is alot more to see than what you posted. recommend return visit. p.s.-slide, you weenie!
Beside the area that has the Rabbit hole and the lake. Are there any other areas that are worth a look? And how do you find them. We wish we could have ran into someone who was very familiar with the cave. Still lots of fun! Will go back again soon. Nice video from 2 Brothers. Really helped me find the main attractions and what kind of gear I needed to purchase as well.
We like to explore caves in a small group. We usually send Travis down a shaft first to check it out. If he gives it the green light we come in or down. If everyone in a party goes down a shaft or in a passageway and then has trouble getting out or up, then there is no one to rescue them. We are always cautions when we go out. We always have as much self rescue gear as we can take on any given adventure. We try to play it safe also. We are not thrill seekers, we just love to adventure.
@az4runner4fun If you go past the rabbit hole, look around and you will find several passageways that lead to different areas... Did you find the rock slide?
i have been thru here...it was fun, and messy...haha...i looked out for everyone else's head except mine - got hit a bunch, but i enjoyed my self for the first time caving :)
Great video. I gotta check this place out...

All those tight spaces had about an inch of water when we went. It got pretty muddy.

I miss caving, I used to go all the time when I lived in oregon. Is that cave volcanic, or what formed it.

It is a limestone cave. It is just a fun place to visit.
