I too have recently been converted to a thin layer of socks instead of the classic liner and heavy outer sock. My feet are much happier. Thanks for sharing.

I leave for San Diego April 21st. I'll be hiking until sometime in September.

Thanks for the videos Dan. You appear to be very organized! I am 90% certain I'll be thru-hiking the PCT this summer so I'll watch for you at the Kickoff or on the trail. I think I'll pick up a pair of those Montrails and give them a try. Many useful points to help me tune my pack. Best regards, Pat M.
