@buffboynick Actually it isn't necessary to just drill and see what's down there to know what the structure of the inner earth is like, because we can read waves from earthquakes and how they travel through the material of the earth, seismic waves change depending on the contents of the earth.

For instance, in seismology, one type of wave is the s-wave, which only moves through solids. From the lack of them we can guess the inner core of the earth is a liquid. (Geology grad student)

Hollow earth idea is utter nonsense based on the rantings of a psychopath. There is no north or south pole hole. Even if there were, it would be completely filled with water. If somehow the rantings about a sun inside the earth were even remotely possible, life on earth wouldn't exist simply from the radiation put out from the massive ball of fusion. Ok, first of all, the sun is not strong enough to trigger the Aurora Borealis. 2nd of all, the lights get emmited from both the north and south entrances to the hallow earth. Supposeivly the inner earth's SUN reflects out the wholes thus causing the light. Sciencetist already know that it's sciencityfially impossible for the sun to cause them to happen, also they happen on both the north and south poles at the same time sometimes. so yeah

If you believe in the Crust, Mantle, Core Theory......then the Earth is actually "hollow" in that theory too.The fact remains though that science isnt currently advanced enough to travel hundreds of miles inside the Earth's crust to see how far down the crust truly is. The current maximum depth is only a few miles drilled from the ocean floor and that is a joke.

Russia opened up its airspace near the North Pole in the 90s which made flights from North America to Asia over that route feasible (cheap).
