i think that they perhaps the diversity of outfits makes it look less tight in some respects than it could have...not so much because of the color mismatch but because some are wearing looser clothing than others and the clothing moves differently..
Is anybody else not as impressed with Prepix as they used to be? Back when they did innovative projects like the mirror one, and they had unmatched team sync and unique style it seemed like nobody would ever be as good as them. Nowadays I feel like they're just another hip hop choreography company, and they seem to have lost everything I liked about them.
@xtheblueonex I absolutely agree. Though I can't deny they're still very entertaining to watch, I really miss their innovative prepix-style performances which made me say prepix was my favourite dancecrew at the time. I haven't said that in a long time.
@xtheblueonex you have the reason. this choreography is not an innovative one but i think this is really fancy. and you have to consider that there was not a correct place to show something innovative.
@xtheblueonex you can't say they're not being innovative like they did with the mirror one.. they just haven't doing showcases like that.. the perform those stuff for different kind of showcase.. beside this performance was a fun old school style.. can't complain.

@thaskunk1 i agree. not every performance can be conceptual or based off a gimmick. showing a firm grasp of the basic styles and choreography is a vital part of being a cohesive, solid crew as well. so many underestimate the value of stuff like this. :/
@xtheblueonex I think they can still do their crazy innovative stuff and they will surely surprise us in the future. That was a Old School Testimony very entertaining, with some lines effect as they used to do. I really enjoyed it, keep the faith ;)
@xtheblueonex I understand where you are coming from, and i get how someone could become disillusioned by the need for ground-breaking innovation ALL the time. Prepix, in my eyes, has evolved into much more than just a "concept" crew. They really are an all-encompassed, hip hop enterprise that not only breaks barriers with dances like "Mirror Story," but now have attracted talented dancers from virtually EVERY genre of hip hop for showcases, music videos, art shows, etc. They're limitless now

I just feel like they went from being the best at something to being subpar at everything.
