I almost peed when I heard Nancy throw in a lick of "Hijinx" into the mix...that was one of my last bands favorite songs to rehearse to....Thanx Nancy...Thanx Ann...You both sound better and better the longer time rolls on...like the best wine that money can buy...you almost feel guilt when drinking it since it's so very rare and you have to enjoy it because of its sheer perfection!..God bless your souls, ladies! The very first time I heard this song I was 16 and on my own and I knew the story of John Lennon and his mom and how they only got close right before her death (as she was hit by a car) and she'd left him with her sister as a boy to go work far away to make money before that and his Dad was away alot too..I cried my eyes out when I heard Johns version of this and Ann takes it there too!!!

@Delliana1718 So good that its scary...ehh?...Thats right!...This song is especialy emotional since it was a heart wrenching cry out to John Lennon's own mother and father when he reached in and opened his soul to write and record this...Ann pulls off the best cover of this that not many could ever touch because of her love of John and own personal friendship with the Lennon family.

They rock so much... I learned note for note Nancy Wilson's inro to Crazy on you.... but as she shows here it's a jam that she feels and can command the guitar. All the you tbue posts playing her intro may perfect the notes... but they don' command the guitar, and Ann does the same with her voice. THey are true muses which we can not copy unless we copy the spiit of their sous and integrity. I'm forever grateful for their contributions. I can hit every note sung or played,but not like them.

I, too, love the way Nance is always mixing things up a bit with how she plays this song. (She just about has to or she'd go crazy, pardon the pun, after having to play this classic for over 3 decades.) I know she's loves "tinkering" w/her truly amazing guitar wizardry. <3

@zionsoldman Well, you may have found out after two years:) but it's a Martin. She has a Martin 12-string D12-45, but this is a 6-string; I don't know the model. My favourite is her 6-string A/E Takamine, but this one runs close.
